Yes, that's ideal. The stock 85mm it has is for some reason worse than the stock 85mm on KV-3.
Once you mount the upped turret and 122, the tank becomes good, once you get the tracks and upped 122, you rip shit apart.

KV GET
Got my chaffee crew up to 100% and i have 1000 gold i have that i plan on using to getting their second skill straight up to 100% after getting their first skill maxed out, so should my whole crew's skill be camo or should i choose any of the other special perks first, although i might just max out camo then use gold to max out other skills that require 100% to work and get situational awareness for my radio operator and recon for the commander.
edit:
Never mind found out you can't use gold to max out a secondary skill (understandably) so i guess i'll just train my crew in camo, this tank is already loads of fun and for some reason i'm gaining abnormal amounts of xp and i'll definitely play it a lot so i guess ill get the secondary skill in no time.
you bet I did.
That T34 was too retarded to back up and hit R2D2
That's not how secondary skills work
T29 fuck yeah. 2146 XP x3
And then they back up.
Listen, its such a great tank that I got BORED of WINNING 7 matches in a row with the 152.
They didnt, though, it was weird.
Either they were actually retarded, or my tank is covered in gorrilla glue.
You obviously don't remember me having multiple tier 9s on my old account.
I do, but I needed a reason to say that![]()
Lol scrub. Okay, in all seriousness, there are several things you need to know about this game, with you being a new player and all.
Like, don't break WGs NDAs...
Also, since you were banned, are you now madcat mk.3?
So guys I was thinking... Maybe Wargaming should add a new TD. The M50 Ontos.
![]()
Maybe you should get out before we rip you a new gunner hatch
Are you high? A Vietnam era tank with 6 recoilless cannons would destroy any tank on the map it even looks at.
I still want RBT-5 :[
(2 250kg aerial rockets on BT-2)
We've got the Patton, T-54, and many other Vietnam Era tanks. I don't really see the issue. If you fire all 6 shots you would have a long ass reload time[probably about 10-30 seconds.] considering the crew had to get out an manually load it.
It could be a high tier TD.
I still want a Katyusha :<
what arty was supposed to be, area denial. rape everything in a medium radius.
Are you running premium?
Nope. Not a tank. Would never be added.
However...
T-60 with a rocket launcher.![]()
T29: Make more profit and XP on defeats than with E-75 on victories.
...
Fuck the Ontos. I want that.
M4 Sherman with Calliope mounting

M4 Sherman. SPG Edition.
Got BL-9 on IS-3.
Yeaaah
Edited:
Still dinged T59 front at 90 degrees
._.
Edited:
Gotta love getting 710 exp on no premium loss because of enemy IS-4's driver who nommed down my 122mm shell which flew into his hatch with 0dmg done to the tank.
I got my E-75!
Enjoy your new hull for your KT of which the biggest weak-spot always was the turret anyway!
(Until you get the turret, it will hurt)
KV-5 or T34? I'm about to throw 50 quid at Wargaming and since I need a moneymaker, I might as well ask for opinions.
Not sure whether the T34 is worth the 4500 extra-gold or not, I love the playstyle of both russian and american heavies.
KV-5 is harder to play efficiently. It's a short range cruiser, frontline tank, you need to get close to your enemies and to stay mobile.
T34 is basically gimped stock T30. It should be classified as a TD.
Uh, is it really that pointless going hull-down with the T34? I can't really imagine camping that much in that beast, never camped in my T29 either.
The cupola on top top of the turret is now vulnerable. From what I heard, the whole thing is also much slower.
For my KV-5, T34s are "flank and it becomes canon fodder, but if it's on uncovered ground, you are fucked"
Can I load the turret without the tracks?
The cupola is tiny. Being hull down in a T34 makes you almost invulnerable. Most of the cupola is 176mm, and only the very top is 51-70mm.
Alright, guess I'm getting the KV-5 then, I don't really like camping or having to sit back at the end of the map and snipe shit off, gets boring pretty quickly.
Thanks.
You wish (no)

I disagree. I often pen the coupola with KV-5. The sides of front turret can also be penetrated with tier x guns.
Edited:
The soft hull is as well very vulnerable to arty and generally HE hitting the turret.
4 games in a row, 4 different tanks i'm killed within the first few minutes of the game and not doing jack shit, goddamnit I punched my desk I raged so hard.
Fucking shit luck, tracked in all 4 tanks in really shitty places then raped by everything
awwwwwwww yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Got Ace Tanker on the Ms1, my life is complete.
