It's huge, slow, and it has zero armor. The only thing that's any good about it is the gun, and that's only because of the pen. All "true" tier 8s are easily better. If you're going to bitch about a premium tank, bitch about the Type 59.

For someone who doesn't have a zillion Tier 9s and 10s with good guns, the Lowe is almost impossible to kill without flanking it and thats a tall order on most maps where they are found in predictable choke points. The Type 59 is just as fucking stupid and I hate it just as much, I only mentioned the Lowe.

I don't have the BL-9 on the IS-3 yet so I basically can't fight it from the front, where we are usually facing when I come up against one.

I don't know what you're fuming about. Most Lowe players drive it like an invincible heavy tank and get really pissed when I start frontally penetrating them in a Tiger, IS or T25 AT. The only thing they have going is a mean gun (with a 11+ second reload), durable treads and somewhat nice frontal turret armor. Seriously, if you have a gun with over 150mm penetration, you can frontally penetrate. Aim lower than the ridge, dead center, for a good engine hit.

They have 120mm frontal and 80mm side. It's not amazingly sloped and they're hilariously slow. If you nail the engine, they can't even hope to go beyond 8kph.

I consistently bounce the front of the Lowe with the 122mm on straight angles and I try my damnedest to shoot the lower hull join which is flat. More than half of the time when I do this it bounces. Upper hull? Always bounces. Similar to experience with Tigers, the front hull plate on the Tiger 1 bounces about 75% of shots I make against it and that is the flattest fucking box tank in the world. I don't really know what to say, maybe I'm bad, maybe I have bad luck.

I've had shit like that happen too. The M3 lee when faced from the side has practically no slope at all, yet I've had shots bounce off of them with no angling using the D10t.
