This poll should be based on computer usage each day.
Also what do you tend to do while you're on the computer?

Programming, 3d Modelling, Gaming and Reading - probably upwards of 6 hours a day. Maybe more. It's on all day, I know that.

Since we do all school work on laptops in school, I'd say 10+ easily.

Unless you mean home computer, in which case only some 4-6 hours.

Too much. We are required to use laptops etc in class, so thats a couple of hours. Plus when I get home I tend to spend several hours if theres nothing else to do.

My job requires me to sit at a computer for around 7 hours a day, 5 days a week. Do I count those, or do you mean my personal computer when you say "your computer"?

This is actually pretty hard for me, because my computer usage varies a lot. I have no idea what the average would be.
I think I once spent 12 hours of a day on various computers (including work), but then again, yesterday I spent about 10mins checking emails and that was about it.

I can go days without turning one on, and some days I do nothing else.

I just realised that I've spent my mid-morning coffee break sat on my computer, looking at FP and saying that I spend too long on a computer.

Less than two hours most likely. I am very much occupied with kitchen duties whenever my husband and children are at home.
By the way, my children are also users on this forum. I will see if I can get them to notice this poll, they have thousands of hours of computer time!

6 hours at school (only time we don't use our machines at school is the 30 minute recess, where most people stay on the computer anyway.
When I come home it's not much more then 4 hours though. Most of my Facepunch posts and Internet activities are from school. Like this post here.

Depends. On fridays and saturdays, if I'm not out doing things, it will be around five to six hours. On all other days it's 2-4 hours. I used to be way worse, 8-9 hours on weekdays, god knows how many on weekends.

Isn't this poll influenced by the fact that people who spend more hours on the computer are more likely to vote

I spend 20 hours in front of my computer. 4 remaining hours are when I am asleep, fall off my computer chair and spend the rest of the night on the floor.

From Monday to Friday I spend no time on the PC (heavy studies). On the weekends, I'm pretty much always on it making something in Hammer, Softimage, Photoshop or After Effects.

4 hours. Sometimes it easily climbs to more, but I prefer not to spend more than a quarter of a day in front of the screens.

I spend a lot, never bothered measuring it. If i'm hungover or no-ones free, i can spend maybe 4-6 hours a day.

My computer is used for so much more than games though.
