I'd have to say my Dad's 68 Pontiac GTO Convertible, man it's a smooth car.

Also my Ma had a 2011 Dodge Challenger for like a week (She got rear ended and her car was in the shop) which she let me drive once.
    want now

    Audi RS6
    BMW E39 M5

Cayman S's are really cool. I got to drive one a long time ago and it was SO fun to whip around corners. Nimble little car.

My dad painted a house for a drag racer a long time ago, and he was a big fan of Vipers.

His drag car was a modified Viper and I got to drive the quarter mile strip in it, along with his street Viper later on that same day.

Best birthday present I've ever received

I drove my dad's 1966 Galaxie 500 around for a while before I bought my own car; it was such an amazing car. It was sexy, sounded beautiful, and fun to get some speed in.

Got to drive a nissan GTR because the guy at the dealership wanted to ride in it and it was a slow day. That car is so insanely fast and tight in the cornering and acceleration i can't express it on a computer. Also driven quite a few BMWs, M3 and M5, my friend has quite a nice convertible M3. Also got to drive a friends Aston Martin Vantage while in Switzerland which is by far my favourite vehicle i've ever been in. Once i have enough money i'm getting myself that beauty

    Edited:

also i own a 2008 nissan 350z which for a cheaper sports car is definitely some of the most fun i've had.

    Edited:

oh i also rode in this thing while i was in berlin

    Edited:

PSSSS to make people even more jelly these are the types of roads i got to drive my friends aston martin on through the swiss alps. lots of guys on crotch rockets and porsches speeding around that day

I drove this at work a few days ago, and i was looking forward to it as i thought it would be awesome.
    It wasn't.
Man that car drives like shit, it has no grip and it feels like you're driving a tin car.
It does give a nice feeling when you drive it but it has no quality on the road.. nice engine though.

[None of the following pictures show the actual vehicles I've driven. They've been picked randomly from the net.]

Hmmmm.... don't know if this qualifies as cool...

    If not, there's still this..

I also once had the chance to take a 996 convertible to the Autobahn :)

Oh, and over here in Germany, these are also considered cool.. I used to have an '84 with pretty ridiculously wide rims and a set of pretty nice mufflers.

There was also a time when Nissan Maxima's were cool, I believe.. had a 3.0, too.

But that might be because I expected it to be a simulator and the wheel support sucked

Probably a Mitsubishi FTO. Took it out for a test drive at a dealer to see if the engine was worth putting into my Galant. It was.

Coolest car I've been in though was when I was a kid and got to sit in James Bond's 1964 Aston Martin DB5 at a museum - the exact car driven by Sean Connery in Goldfinger and Thunderball. The museum was about to close, and me and my parents were the last people in there. Since I was buying a Bond book in the gift shop, the assistant asked if I'd like to sit in it. I sat in it, and pressed the switches and smelled the leather.

The same museum recently closed, and that exact same car sold for 2.9 million at auction. I consider myself lucky.

Aston Martin DB9 Convertible - neighbor let me drive it around the block

Porsche Cayman S - test drive

    Porsche 911 S - test drive

And just yesterday a brand new 2012 Lotus Exige S - my uncle brought it over

Oh, and a classic Austin Healey - my boss let me drive it

This isn't exactly exotic, but a 2011 Camaro SS - test drive

    Love that big v8 sound

Of all of them, Aston Martin was the most fun to drive - gorgeous sound.

    911 was the easiest

My family is big into muscle cars, so that's primarily what I've driven as far as "cool" cars go. Only going to post legit pictures of my own car, as I haven't asked for permission to post pictures of the other cars. I'll attempt to find images that resemble the car as closely as I can manage

1970 GTO, this is my car. Picture is of the actual car the day I bought it, so it's pretty old; before I cleaned it up.

    1971 Barracuda. Fathers car.

1977 Firebird. Was my mothers car for a long time.

    1968 Firebird. Uncles car.

    1967 Mustang Fastback. Grandfathers car.

1969 Charger. Friend of my grandfather has one of these, lets me take his for a spin on occasion.

1970 Chevelle SS. Neighbors car, lets me and my father drive it every time he tinkers with some various part on it, likes second/third opinions I suppose. Originally traded me a drive in his SS if he could take my GTO out for a spin, of course I agreed.

1969 Firebird. Same guy from above, same deal, minus the original trade.

1970 Roadrunner. Drove one when I was still in buyers mode for my own car.

Old military Jeep, not sure of its age. "Uncle Johnny", a close family friend, was a huge collector of old vehicles and pretty much anything else old that moved. Not going to post his whole collection but I always thought his Jeep was the coolest part of the collection. According to him it was a legitimate military Jeep that he used back in the day. Ran like a dream considering.

Ferrari 308. Father of my best friend has one, lets me drive it on occasion.

2006 Dodge Viper. Same father from above recently bought one of these, as before he lets me drive it on occasion.

1969 Corvette Stingray. Found this one parked next to a house, having always been a fan of the Stingray I went for a closer look. Owner came out of his house and we talked about it for the better part of 2 hours, eventually, against my objections, he insisted I take it for a drive with him in order to "really feel the car". In return I let him drive my car. Made a new friend that day.
Well that's all I feel like digging up pictures for. I count my blessings that I've been lucky enough to drive nearly every one of my dream cars. Still working on that Lamborghini Countach -- one day.

2005 Toyota Camry SE- drove when my car fucked over
2005 Kia Sedona- dad's car- drove on road trip
