Edit one of the bat files, remove (x86) from Program Files (x86) on 2nd line. Make sure you have 32-bit Java7 installed. (x86)
    Thanks, downloading Java 7 now

Since there's a launcher now, will it work with 64bit java too or still only 32bit java?

You just have to install 32bit java, but yes, no support for 64bit

Time goes WAY to fast and you get hungry and Unhappy WAY too fast.
    Make soup.

Not canned soup, save that for later.

Take a pot, fill it with water, and then place one to three food items in it.

Obviously the more you put in it, the better the product. Fills happiness, boredom, and has a massive food benefit.

Note that the first food item needs to be something like carrots, broccoli, chicken, steak, salmon, and a few others that I am forgetting.

The second and third items are much more forgiving in terms of variety. Flour, cheese, eggs, peas, etc etc.

It ultimately gives you more points than if you just ate the components individually and makes your character quite happy.

Now mind you that this only really works while you have running water, but it is a good way to burn through the perishables before the power dies.

    2 weeks for water.

One month for power, I believe.

    EDIT:

Note that I'm not sure. I've had games go beyond the water cutoff, but the versions are releasing too fast (Not that I'm complaining) for me to test if the power actually goes out after a month.

Ah thank you. I'll have a tinker. Gotta say. I'm not really getting drawn into this version as Much as I did when I played my brothers copy of 0.5F or whatever it was.
maybe you should wait until the stable release, most issues should be worked out and everything should be more balanced by then.

I think it's random actually, the power went off for me in 4 - 5 days.

Also, before adding new features they need to fix save corruption, and the world occasionally splitting in half and becoming inaccessible black space.

Awesome, will put it to the test. Going to stream around 3-4PM PST (for reference, that's 10PM - 11PM GMT) I'll make a post, also will tweet it (you can click the twitter icon under my name).

Since I've never had that bug myself can't make any guarantees so it'd be worth giving it a good test before a stream. Should be fine though given the error output. Worst case should be you'd lose the contents of that particular container that bugged out.

It's more a stress test when playing. Most of the bugs I've experienced never happen in a few days, they almost always happen in the long run. But hey, it's in alpha, it's bound to happen.

Also I don't have time to test right now

I've been testing the road thing lately, every time you cross it, you get sick... I suppose it has something to do with moving from a cell to cell?

By the way, I tested it with not eating anything, still got sick.

maybe it's because i'm invisible or something but i was bitching about the horrendous performance i experience.

it's even more maddening now considering the world isn't seamless anymore. or if it was never seamless there are fuckloads more load times now.

They should put in a random event after X amount of time for a nuclear missile aimed for the town accidently blowing up at high altitudes, frying all electronics

Okay it's a totally silly and ridiculous scenario but it happens in HOTD (don't laugh, it's actually a nice little anime that ends up being fucking hilarious due to the mixture of japanese-anime stereotypes and classic romero-style zombies. I don't even watch anime that often!)

You mean after character selection screen? Because there's nothing else to load in 0.1.5. No multicell maps, no saving, no reloading.
