And so begins the life and death of Bill Cosby.
I'm assuming you're running Windows 7, correct?
Have you tried uninstalling java and installing java 32 bit?
Uninstall Project Zomboid and try again. Without editing anything.
and then restart your computer and try it once more

My installer that has a auto updater included is almost working, except that it somehow disables your audio drivers... damn it
How do I toggle walking?
Running errywhere isn't good for my wimpy legs.
An "unarmed" option or something should be added.
It's annoying if you spawn in a house without weapons, and you get grappled/held back by a single zombie unable to even push them away.
Oh god guys help, I can't stop moving in one direction.
I can only move side to side but not backwards fff.
And now a bunch of random people are running around in my house, eating all the canned food and throwing open all the doors. Ungrateful fucks.
Wooden bows in general require both a great deal of skill to manufacture and specific upkeep to keep them from destroying themselves in any length of time.
Your only real bet would be a preexisting crossbow or bow.
Even then I'm not really sure how effective they would be. Arrows, on a good day, aren't really all instantly lethal to people. British longbowmen would throw their arrows tip first into the ground to prep them for firing, both for easy access and because they recognized that they were unlikely to kill very many people and that infections (which they made more possible by planting the heads in the ground) would be the major killer for them.
Bullets hit with what is basically explosive force. You strike the body and the bullet mushrooms and ricochets off bone, tearing up all sorts of stuff. Hit a skull with a bullet and it will not only tear a nasty hole, but it will turn the shattered portion of the skull into secondary projectiles and occasionally cause an overpressure in the brain. Overall combat and hunting caliber (medium-large game) bullets generally cause catastrophic damage to the brain. Arrows...arrows and bolts are a little different. They can certainly strike with a lot of force and accuracy, but you simply aren't going to have the same overwhelming catastrophic destruction when you hit the head. So depending on the design for the zombie, it is entire possible you could loose several bolts, all head shots, and basically do nothing to a zombie because you failed to connect with the relatively small brain stem.
Gotta say I found the old music better.
Old music is still in I believe.
