    Ghosts if you're Terran.
    Feedback if you're Protoss
"GG" -> Surrender if you're Zerg.
Wouldn't zerg just try and sneak infestors around then fungal them?

Oh man. Played a 4v4 and everyone's like, "so what's the plan guys? I'm gonna go ling/muta."
I told them my devilishly cunning plan, "Gonna do a triple FE/carrier rush guys".
"Wtf that's not even a strat"
"Yeah it is man, fuckin' 100% winrate guaranteed."

Admittedly I had to build a fuckton of cannons for defence while I got my fleet beacon up, but it worked guys! It actually worked!
(That and the game was pretty much wrapping up before I got my first unit out anyway which kinda sucked)
4v4 matches are really dumb unless you know the people you're playing with.

How would you counter high templars and their super storms?

    (I'm a bronze league noob)
Neural parasite and use their storms on their own army, if a zerg has less infestors than they have HTs then you're playing wrong!

Hahaha 4v4s, once I did the same thing but I was Zerg, I wound up stealing everyone's natural expansion and just pumped mass Roach and had a maxed out army at about 11 minutes

Yeah in PvP you always want to use storms because they are so amazing vs Protoss! They can kill a WHOLE Protoss army in about 8 storms or only 32 seconds of storming! That is why PvP is turning into mass High Templar vs mass High Templar.

Even so Feedback/Storm has two more range than Neural Parasite, so in most cases if you are a Zerg player it is just a better idea to carefully fungal the Templars if they are bunched up and to make units that are good against storm such as Roaches.

Just won against a terran that was containing and keeping me off making a 3rd while he had 3 bases, he went mass banshee which i held off with infestors not actually killing them, and got 30 corruptors which totally wiped out his battlecruisers and banshees, morphed 5 brood lords INSIDE his main (land army was non existant) and he ragequitted when they popped out

    Edited:

he was also gold so i might get promoted soon, usually i'm under the impression if zerg is on equal or less bases than their opponent for over a minute or so then they're fucked, but i did hardcore counter all his pride and joy with mass corruptors

Now you guys know why sensor towers are always an afterthought, assuming they are given a thought in the first place.

They are pretty legit in TvT especially playing Mech.
they'd be worth if tanks could fire into sensor detect. As it is, they're only worth later on when you have spare red and only to deter drops.

As to tvs. With the ghost change you will have to piecemeal the zerg so that hehas to rebuild eco and will not have the same typical dominating hive army.

Both systems are fine, old system was a bit nicer but really the difference is marginal.

    Names
New system means you can name yourself ANYTHING YOU GOD DAMN WANT. ANYTHING. Doesn't matter if it's been taken by someone else. HOW IS THAT BAD?

    Cross Region Play
    Agreed. Sucks.

    Rankings
Divisions and tiers make low level players and casuals feel better about their play, they see progress and make laddering more immediately rewarding for everyone. On the downside, not knowing your overall rank in the grand scheme of things does suck for people who care about that.

    Team Games
Pretty sure you play random 4v4s with at least semi-random enemy teams.

    Custom Games
All of the customs are crap and remakes of War3 or Brood War customs anyway.

    Tournaments
No support from Bnet sucks, but on the other hand there's so many community run tournaments (with prizes too!) and players from most skill levels can participate and have a decent chance of winning.

    Profile
Profile also lists how much you've played this season (based on your wins) and what races you play. Both are things that 1.0 didn't support. Not sayin new profile is better or worse. Also the old win/loss counted every melee match in it's stats. Including against AI. That's retarded.

    Player Portraits
Since when does BW have portraits? Like seriously.

    Clan Support
They're adding clan support soon aren't they?

    Lan
Lack of lan support sucks, but BW's lan support is buggy at best too. Also that's a problem with SC2, not battle net.

    Name Change
Infinite name changes also meant infinite smurf accounts. You'd never ever get to play against people at your skill level unless you were damn good at the game.

    Replays
    DEAR GOD I MISS THIS.

    Commands
Pretty sure this is still possible.

    Support
Welcome to the modern age, nobody does tech support like this any more because it's unfeasible.

List is flawed, some points are good, some are not, some are plain bullshit. Bnet 2 is good enough anyway.

    Edited:

Just had a PvT game as protoss, the terran was hammering me the whole game til I got a warp prism right into their base and blink'd my stalkers in, done some damage and scared the shit outta him and saw he had an entire ball of marines and medivacs. Couldn't take em all down so left my immortal in the base to distract em and got everything away as well as my prism.

Obvious course of action against a terran marine deathball?

High Templars man, all dem storms all of the time

He stim'd, I dropped a ton of storms on him and he immediately surrendered, without a GG, quite offended by that.
I'd say he was pretty reasonable to rage quit. Storms are utter bullshit against bio.

"Oh I got stormed, better use my micro to select the units under storm and move them away."
    *storm again*
    "Okay move them again."
    *storm again*
"My whole army is dead, even though I micro'd more than my opponent and my army was larger."

Then again there is the potential of goatse avatars, but in all my time playing valve games, the most inappropriate avatar I have ever seen was a nice pair of boobies.

They would never introduce the feature of course, EA and Activision are dicks like that.

EA and Activision doesn't allow modification of anything at all. With Valve games, you can pretty much modify everything.

Depending on how big both armies are it can be done if you're skilled enough. This doesn't really count for zerglings but they are on the 'Toss' army anyhow so not an awful lot of people will storm their own zealots.

That's the thing though. Anyone with more than 5 apm can ploink storms on your army from here to blizzcon, but you have to be like grand master gsl gosu with 1000 apm and split your marines individually to counter him.

As a Zerg player who was Plat in Season 1 I dare say I can manage storms when they're used against me nowadays. However, when I was Gold and below I had tons of trouble with them. I couldn't pick out the units that were being stormed.
Later I noticed that most 'Toss would just empty their HT's in 2 seconds and moving my entire army would do the trick.

It's just a matter of practice. In time you'll be moving those units without second thought.

As Zombojoe said SS at every base and 1 or two Overseers. Sacrifice-scout an overlord if you get a throbbing feeling in the back of you head. It's some kinda Zergysense all Zergs have.    That, or it's an headache from seeing your entire army get decimated by a bunch of HT's.

Thing is most ladder protosses don't use HTs.
Problem with that means I never get to practice against them.
Which means when they do pop up I die.

Not that it matters, protoss is my worst matchup by far.

HTs versus lower level Terrans are already ridiculous. 2 storms are enough to lose your entire army if you go bio, so you have to bank on the fact that you will need EMP ready ghosts that manage to hit all his HTs MVP can do it, I don't know about everyone else

If they're doing a 1base/2base turtle then that means you have the entire map as long as you can react when they do push out. Expand, survive their death ball, and then bumrush their now barely defended base.
