So I need a new microphone because if you move my current one's cable at all, it cuts out.
I saw plenty of reviews for this and it sounded and looked great for the price.

    Edited:

Would this be a good one?
I've been looking for a new microphone, and everything I see about this one is golden.

and if you do go with the CAD U1, get a ferrite core as well because it can pick up a lot of interference.

A ferrite core on the USB? Would that make a difference on digital?

that's what I thought, but read the reviews, some people get pretty bad interference and using a ferrite core fixes it...

I got some 10ft and 15ft cables a few days ago for my mic so I can put it on the other side of my desk, I wonder if I should get some chokes/cores

    Edited:

From my research it seems like the ferrite cores on cables keep EMI from escaping or entering as if it were an antennae.

Should I test this with my Neodymium magnets (I have one of those Neocube things). I was thinking that it could be strong enough to fuck with my HDD.

Is there any way I can make an image I see on the internet appear as something else to me? Like redirect it to an image on my PC or something else on the internet. Something like reverse-adblocking an image.

the easiest way would to just use the HOST file and put the URL of the image to it to another pic

I think it would be easiest if you had an audio cable running from an ipod or something running a sine wave signal, and then analyze it running into your line in or Mic in in adobe audition.

Then see the difference between non ferrite core and ferrite core.

Is there some decent program that will let me see which applications are downloading stuff? It seems that internet goes a lot slower when my pc is on. My brother found out that usenet downloads go about 1-2mb/s when my pc is on, and jump to 7-8mb/s when my pc is off.
The only few things that I run that use internet are Chrome, Spotify, Steam and Wurm Online and I don't think any one of those is the reason

    Now my question:
I'm looking at RAM for a new build, is it important which brand it is? I'm looking at the Crucial Ballistix Sport. Is it good?

Because BF3 is temperamental at the best of times. Crashed out of the FP EU server about 3 times in a single round, one of them needing me to forcibly restart.

I know we're on the same page, but it seems like it was forgotten so I'm asking again, while rephrasing:

Anything better than the CAD U1 for less than $30?

Yeah, that actually just happened to me a minute ago. Though it doesn't happen often. I think I'm just going to bear with it and hope for a patch.

What is a good small wireless mouse for a laptop?

    and

What's the best gpu I can use with a Q6600 overclocked to 3.2GHz without bottlenecking?

Is there a way to empty other Windows users' Recycle bins? I need it since every time I defrag my HDD, there's a lot of wasted time defraging all the useless files. Not to mention they take up valuable space that I need.

I just wish the side buttons didn't stick out as much but that's minor.

    Buy NOD32 or get Avast.
MSE sucks and Norton loves false positives.

Yes it does. It lets half the of the threats in and you can disable it with a .bat file if you constantly use Administration account.
It does not think a backdoor sniffer is a threat to your PC's security.
