    so i haven't posted in MY thread in a while so i thought i'd post something i'm working on he still needs some or alot of work and plus got to fix the weapon attach bone cause his weapon spawns at his feet, also this is my very first NPC EVER for gmod, was fun rigging it but not fun messing with the qc file

    Not bad, but to be honest since I'm not a poser I'm more interested in that rifle than the ragdolls. But anyway progress time:
    FiveseveN: I fixed some clipping on the slide, and ported the sounds (for once that actually took some effort, they were very quiet and had a lot of background noise).
    Since I'm having a little communication issue with xplor3r I'll just ask this here: anyone mind ripping the world model of the FMG9 for me to ragdoll?

    the only animations that I think would come close to fitting, would be Mullet's jackhammer animations imo. It hides the shell insert, but it doesn't have a pumping animation cause it's for the xm1014.

    Lol for u it isnt a problem.. but he doesnt make skins just for u.. rofl
    If u want it i guess u will have to wait for a fitting animations
    Havent seen the jackhammer but how come a KSG without Pump Action its any good? :\
    My Advice? forget about it until some KSG animations comes out..
    Altho i think whiskas did it.. idk never saw all the screens.. |=

    If anyone's willing to show me what on earth needs to be done to fix the shaders I'll do that to. But anyway, still baffled by w_models, I may just not do them and leave that to dysavior, also these may not be exactly like the one's in mw3, but it's the first FMG set I've seen so I'm gonna try and put the FMG9 on them.
    No, as with any ports, the models don't look as good as when they're in the intended engine, simply because the norms, specs, diffuse, all that crap is more optimized for the correct engine. Source simply doesn't look as good.

    Hey guys im new here and im working on this a long time ago.. The only problem here is the bumpmap sucks so can someone help me to convert mw3 bumpmaps (those grey bumpmaps) to real normal maps (the blue red violet thingy)? I don't have photoshop here.. This is xplor3r's rip I just fixed it and added the hybrid sight..


    As you can see I have fixed the smoothing but the bumpmap really sucks lol.. So help would be appreciated :D!!
    EDIT: It has ImBrokeRU V2 M4 animations..

    That's another normal map made from diffuse, meaning it will look bad ingame.

    Now this one was made using the m4 from the pack on the first page.. It's not based on xplor3r's rip.. As you can see it is the real m4 with hybrid sight not just putting the hybrid sight on top of a default m4.. lol just the bump map is...

    people, i figured out a way to rip from multiplayer :D, or at least it worked for me

    the only way to do it is enabling "start global system monitoring" on 3d ripper, and make sure you first have UAC disabled (on windows 7 and vista)

    i got the thermal scope, the hamr scope and the heartbeat

    Disable your steam, next open 3d ripper and in "Please select DirectX..." put this "X:\Program Files 9x860\Steam\steam.exe" (Idk where you got steam on your PC) and press "Launch".
    Next step, wait until steam turns on and run MW3 multiplayer.
    I made a private server, I made class with HB sensor on weapon and... I pulled out model.

    Progress on M4A1: I have made the normal map as good as I can, look at the "EOTech" on the holo sight.. You can also notice that there is new textures..
