Well Garry did say it was fine and since this is slightly different from the 2 pre-releases, it deserves its own thread. If we only wanted one thread we wouldn't have a sub-forum.

They haven't said that yet, but I bet there will be a changelist in the launcher when mc.net is up again.

Just downloaded the jar in the first post. And decided to create a new world using the seed "myfirstv1.8experience"

It spawned me on an island in the middle of nowhere with a single tree... Not much of a good experience.

Strange... Seed number from the F3 menu says the seed is

-1778576784

I'm not updating till all my favourite mods get updated.

After ages of getting bored with 1.7.3 i added a load of mods, which made the game more interesting.

Now I don't want to update, kind of ironic in a way.

I'm just reall waiting for TooManyItems, since the game doesn't allow you to switch maps from creative to survival, and the pre release one doesn't work with the proper 1.8 release.

This game now lags like a bitch for me. I used to get 60+ fps but now I only get around 7 fps. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
