Why would you actually download wallpapers? Just go on http://wallbase.cc and type in what you want.

    -snip-

I was starting to get tired of my homescreen already before even finishing it, so I just decided to leave it like this:

This happens very often to me. Like, I think of a screen that I really like, then just when I'm done with it, I'm already bored of it. Does this happen to anyone else or am I finally going insane?

It happens to me, but i'm too lazy an uninspired to change it. I stay lazy just up to the point that it grows on me, and I can never change it due to tradition and requiring everything to stay the same spot so I dont get confused.

    i am a vanilla man

i hope ICS comes out real soon for the SGS II because having to reduce the saturation of wallpapers manually so they don't look like a kid's candy package isn't cool

(i believe ICS allows you to choose between screen display presets like movie and such to edit saturation/contrast)

    Here's a thing I did:

    Based on this: http://mycolorscreen.com/2011/12/09/multihome/

Still a W.I.P., though, as I need to make backgrounds fit in a bit better, do something about the widgets.
But it is still something I'm really proud of.

Neither really look that good. That clock doesn't go with the mono-color style of the wallpaper & icons.

Anyone know of a good Portal 2/Aperture Science theme?

I remember seeing a really good one, but I just can't find it. I feel like I saw it on lifehacker, but I probably didn't.
It might've been on mycoloscreen, but the ones on there aren't the ones I remember.

    Here:

There was another lockscreen app, I remember you could download themes and one of the themes was a really good portal lockscreen.

I found that one, and I recently finished getting it to work. I fucking love it.

NOW I need a homescreen design/theme for portal.

Plus, anyone know where to find the portal turret "alarmed" sound, ya know, when they first see you?. None of the Portal 2 soundboards have them.

It wouldn't be loose in the folder, it'd be in one of the GCF files for Portal 2.

@That Ninja: Download GCFScape if you haven't already and look through the Portal 2 GCF files in Program Files\Steam\steamapps. You should find it eventually

Do you not have any 4x3/4x4 clock widgets? Stop stretching em. Also, both the icons don't really fit the wallpaper.

I love it! You could try these minimalistic icons: http://www.tutorial9.net/downloads/1...minimal-icons/ and maybe set them at 50-70% opacity. I think it would look perfect.

I had tried that Icon pack and In my opinion the pack that I currently have matches the background just a little better.
I'm a sucker for small icons too.

I did however change my lockscreen. I think it's an improvement.

The fact that you're using my icon(s) is flattering, but I'm not sure if the music icon fits your melancholy b-and-w homescreen.

Sexy lockscreen though. What app are you using?
