Apparently, Prince William County, Virginia sustained the most damage.

Nothing happened to my house though.

Actually, that's not true. Papers fell down, cracks appeared in my driveway, and my cat pissed on the carpet.

New Jersey is literally only a state for like... voting reasons now.

It's actually more like 2 areas, and those two areas are just slightly crappier extensions of Penn and NY.

I'm only like 70 miles east of the epicenter, shook my whole fuckin house. Weird, never felt an earthquake and I've been living here for 15 years.

It knocked shit off my shelves and opened the cabinets in my house.

If you live in VA or NC you'll get a hurricane this weekend.

Hence Maryland's intrinsic superior hurricane protection.

After the earthquake now I have to go pick up all the fallen shit in my yard so the hurricane doesn't throw it into my house. Never thought I'd have to pick up from one natural disaster to prepare for another.

South Jersey isn't as bad as North Jersey. We get all the shit from Brooklyn, and mostly Brooklyn wannabes.

The only positive thing I can say about the earthquake is that I've never laughed so much about my cat's reaction to something before.

Felt it in N. Virginia pretty well. My whole house started shaking, but since we're by Quantico Marine Corps base and they do a lot of explosive stuff, I figured it was that, but when my desk really started rattling I knew something was up so I just got my ass outside.

Now I have more sympathy for people who go through this on a yearly basis.
