I am still the winner in that.
I am still the winner in that.
Jesus christ. It took hours and fucking hours, but I finally beat the SECOND LEVEL ON LEGENDARY.
This is as hard as shit by yourself. Seriously, this is nearly impossible.
Also, the Kinect features are so freakin' neat. Even if they don't do anything usefull, it feels so freakin' cool to yell "CHANGE WEAPONS" and have Chief change.
When I'm not raging at those
MOTHERFUCKING SON OF A BITCH ASSHOLE RED ELITES FROM HELL
I'm enjoying this so much
In all honesty though I want to gush about this soo much.
It's honestly a near tearjerking thing going through Halo again. I should set it down from Legendary so I rage less, but Halo is honestly what got me hooked on shooters. Yeah. I know how cheesy that sounds, but I bought Halo for my mum's computer (Before I could even afford my own. Hell, I was like, 10.) And loved it to death. Played the campaign countless times. Played multiplayer for hours on ends.
Halo 3 was the reason I bought a 360. Halo has influenced my gaming for so long, and to have the version I love and remember, brought back on the big screen (Much larger than my mom's shitty pc!) In hi-def graphics, all down to the last detail! I squealed when I saw the same death animations and everything, Chief doing his silly rolls and arm-flailings when he dies. It was exactly how I remembered, and it brought back so much to me.
And it's all improved <3 Guns sound amazing, and this is the first FPS where firing a gun feels fucking sweet. The rumble with each shot of the control gives you this insane feel that really makes you feel like that M6D is in your hands.
I'm only on the third level right now, but I eagerly await to fight the Flood and delve deeper into halo.
Endless thanks to 343. This is all I ever wanted.
Also, made it down that set of stairs to the first fight with the flood in 343GS.
Worked up the momentum from my fears of 10 years past and am now making headway through Two Betrayals.
Oh wow, they remade the flood intro!
It finally shows how mendoza ended up on that door! (Or I just noticed it, dunno.)
LOL So in True Halo Tradition I'm trying to get vehicles where they're not suppose to be
I'm in Assault on the control and the area after you have to leave the tank I jack a Ghost and go through the two lower rooms, using a grenade to glitch the ghost into the tighter corridors you can't normally get in, so I get on the elevator, activate the elevator get in the Ghost.. ghost passes through the elevator and now i'm stuck at the bottom of the shaft
Aye, I think I'll give up and go and get the Anniversary tomorrow even though I have the original Halo: CE for Xbox and PC. Can't wait to receive my remastered nostalgia load and play Firefight on Installation 04.
Friend request: Would somebody from Europe or with a good connection from North-America be so kind and add me as a friend? I don't have many people in my friends list to play Reach with (usually randoms just spam me invites just because I'm a girl or on top of the scoreboard, which I don't accept) so I'm looking for nice people to play mainly some tough-as-nails Firefight Customs (now that there is no Limited playlist anymore) and Invasion with (nothing serious, just some optional join-in/join-out games sometimes).
I can take care of myself (been playing Halo Multiplayer since Combat Evolved) and can lend you a hand every time you need it (I'm probably just going to stick 3m from you anyway). Communication equipment is not required, I understand how the sophisticated common rules and teamwork works (I actually haven't used headset since '09, Live is like a breeding place for alpha-males). So if you're interested, feel free to add me as your wingman.
Oh, and here's my player card: http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/De...r=reinfin&sg=0
This sounds like a some kind of job application.
Sorry I couldn't join your party on Live last night Combo, but I had a friend playing on the xbox wanting to try CEA
I even got past that stage without setting foot in a vehicle. You need to use a grenade jump if you want to get past the gap in that tunnel.
Is it just me, or are the achievements in this game impossible?
"Finish the library in 30 minutes on Legendary"
"Finish the Library on heroic without dying."
WHO THE FUCK CAN DO THAT
Silent Cartographer on Legendary... FML
Took me almost an hour just to make all the marines survived the beach landing. I swear to god they LOVE running into plasma grenades.
I don't remember Halo being this hard. Still stuck on Assault on the Control Room.
The pre-order skull turns the whole fucking thing into chaos.
Why do people find the Bandanna skull so hard to get to? I got it on my first jump. I've got half of the skulls at the moment, and I only got a vague hint for the bandanna skull, I found the rest myself (which was real fun to do, finding skulls without guides was probably my best decision regarding HCEA yet.)
oo you get 32,000 Reach credits for unlocking the Terminal on "The Maw"
So I'm about to finish the Two Betrayals level and I'm prompted for an update. I let the update go through, resume the checkpoint on the level and I'm returned back to the start. God damnit.
...not that I would know how Easy plays.
How's Halo: CEA? I got some spare cash so I might get it, especially since it's pretty cheap.
Get it, it's amazing. Also, that last bonus terminal on Waypoint just sceams H2A to me, and the fact that they categorized the Alpha Halo data archive in waypoint leads me to believe that H2a would have terminals as well
No code is needed to play MP, right? Because I'm renting this through gamefly at the moment, and it comes in tomorrow.
Other then that, I'm so pumped and ready :D
fucking assault on the control room
I'm currently playing through The Library, and I swear I just saw a Sentinel fly down and teabag a Flood. Hot stuff.
Grunt Funeral, Boom, and the Bandanna skulls combined are pretty freakin' crazy. Chain reactions everywhere, and it makes Legendary difficulty pretty easy. I'm thinking I'll only do it on Legendary until I try it without the skulls, to make earning it fair.
I love how you still slide along the ground when you throw grenades while running in Anniversary
Same with the moonwalk, since it uses the running animation at every speed. Just run backwards very slowly, spent like 5 minutes doing just that with a friend a few days ago.
