    Loving your car
Everything is amazing at that car
It's very very loud, to the point where it is uncomfortable to drive on motorways. It rides extremely stiff, it's not practical at all, it's hard to see out of the back of. Because of the scarcity of them parts are becoming extremely expensive. The Alcon breaks squeak and have to be stripped and cleaned every year because they are race-specs that have no 'weatherproofing' that Ford just shoved on a road car. It has no spare wheel because it wouldn't fit over the huge breaks, the front splitter is curb-height, and it has a ridiculously tiny ~200 mile fuel tank. Basically it is far too hardcore to be used as a daily really.

However it is also one of the best handling front-drive cars ever built, the breaks are truly amazing they actually get better at the same point regular disks start bursting into flames. The engine although underpowered for the price at 160bhp is brilliant, the exhaust note is sublime, and the pops and crackles on the overrun are to die for. The fact they are so rare (500 built) and hand-made by Tickford with a great history is brill too, I love the fact the panel gap on the bonnet is wider on one side than the other it just adds to the character.

The only reason I put up with it as a daily is because I truly love driving.

Another FWD car with gnarly brakes would be the Mazdaspeed3; you can go from cruising at 60 to being at a dead stop in under 2 seconds without breaking loose. I've never felt anything like it.

As high as mine sits i still scrape when i go over speedbumps due to the way the exhaust is fitted; Race pipe hangs pretty low near the center of the vehicle. I'd like to lower it more but even still i think slamming it like a cholo ruins the whole look of it. Low is cool, don't get me wrong. I'm not even sure i can lower mine, i think the coil-overs he got are at a set height or something, i didn't see any way to adjust them when i looked with the wheels off so.

    Edited:

It's actually not even high now that i think about it, maybe a few cm's higher than Blaster's, it's just the way the two vehicles sit i guess.

My car is probably higher than you think. I got the 18" wheels over 17" wheels to emphasize the wheel fitment so people ignore the height

Why do people think this looks good? The gigantic wheels are totally out-of-proportion, plus part of the wheel isn't even visible and it doesn't fill the wheel-well up very well.

I saw a slammed suburban, to the same level as the other chevy posted above today. It was the stupidest thing i've ever seen, and there were these two bros looking at it talking to eachother. At 7-11.

I need to get rid of that fart cannon. 2 1/2in exhaust with no resonators, hollowed cat, and a huge muffler. Not too quiet, and way too much attention. Gotta fix some body fitment issues and gonna get a strut/spring combo for it. Probably Koni Yellows and GC springs. Motors enough for me for the time being.

Well, I have a set of GSR Fat-5's in my garage.

I just got snow tires on the steelies since winters coming. Around spring time I'm gonna get tires on 'em, and put 'em on. Gonna try and see if people wanna trade or whatever for other rims. I don't really like Fat-5's. My brother has a set of Blades, but he's being a douche about 'em. I even told him I'd give him mine and some money.

The GSR fat fives are alright but not my choice of wheels for EG. I prefer Del Sol fat fives with or without center caps. Or VX/HX wheels.

That truck isn't "slammed". It's on bags most likely. Aka the ride is still soft and the ride height completely adjustable at any time. Speed bumps are not a problem.

Well the people that have their low riders like them just like every other group of car enthusiasts. They are useless and not practical but I think they are pretty cool. You guys always show super stereotypical lowriders, nice small spoke wheels are much better.

Slammed has nothing to do with the vehicle being on static suspension or otherwise. That fucker is laying frame, therefore it is slammed.

And no the ride isn't always soft on bags. A lot of VW people run bags and they run stiff so they can have a nice low ride height without constantly smacking bumpstop.

Please excuse the shitty, blurry, grainy photo, but being that this was some of the most fucking fun I've had in many years (and not to mention it got me out of my cave to meet some new people) I figured it was worth posting.

As i explained to mgear here (Who did actually tell on me...) I arrived late to the party (or rather on time, they all got there early) and that was the last spot available. On the other side of the white car was a giant pole belonging to a billboard...We'll have to find somewhere else to park if we want more than 4 people to join us unless they end up parking in the drop off zones as well :P
