Computer Illiterate People who think they know things v9: Windows is a Strawberry

    :siren: RULES by daijitsu :siren:
    --
[release]I'm going to say this, and no one's going to listen. This thread is about people who think or act like they're tech savvy, and fail miserably. This could be smug kids saying their macbook could run Crysis on decent settings to garner attention, teachers at school spouting out things that make no sense and trying to get away with the "I'm the teacher, I'm right" excuse, or the usual haberdashery and whatnot.

    Posts everyone is sick of:

Laughing at normal people instead of actual tech-illiterate asshats:
"My friend said he has 1 terabyte of ram lolol"
"Someone said their 8800 video card is better than my 220GT turbo-derp, what a retard"

stupid, repetitive, or extremely damaging pranks:
"I unplugged my friend's mouse at school and they had to call over a teacher, I'm so cool"
"I told my friend to delete system32 and he did lmfao"
"I flicked the PSU voltage switch on his computer and it blew up xD"

    [/release]

    [release]
    Blind hatred or fanboyism:
People who say Macs suck are stupid and wrong
People who say PCs suck are stupid and wrong
"Macfags suck because apple sucks and they think they're better rage rage rage."
"PC sucks cuz Mac is better."
"Linux is bettur because it's free hurp derp"[/release]

Remember, tech illiterates ACT like they know things, but don't.

It's fun when they actually follow their own advice on tech when they have NO clue what they're doing, like the one guy who said "My keyboard broke, so we bought a new computer because it was easier", or just general idiocy, like the one 8.5 minute rant that, in short, was "PC cost too much for gaming, spend the money on consoles and TVs because I don't want to be locked away in a room, so buy a mac. OSX MOTHAFUCKAAA"

He actually peaced-out with "OSX." *gangsta-face*

Battery Kid: AREN'T YOU GOING TO WATCH THE SUPER BOWLZ
Me: Why are and how did you get in my room.
Battery Kid: The battery still won't fit.
He did it. Again. I called security and sent an e-mail strongly discouraging this student from having access to a laptop.

Ohai new thread. Backstory is some really fucking creepy kid decided to cut a battery in half.

The majority of people treat this general chat no and no longer care about lack of content. Title had "General Chat" taken out by popular demand.

I'm either really stupid or this makes no sense. Aren't misleading titles a bannable offense?

If you have a thread about x, and it turns into a discussion about y, why would you continue to mask the title of the thread as x.

Plus this removes the WHOLE POINT of this subforum.

Don't you find it interesting that every time Notch posts a link on his Twitter, the page he was linking to crashes?

I guess there is such a thing as too much e-peen.

I'm content. I've OC'd my i3 from 2.93 to 3.33 and Windows is being a bitch, so guessing it's an unstable OC.
This is what I get for thinking I could stable overclock it that much without help from someone.

Any ideas on how to make it more stable? Runs idle on around 30c so nothing to do with temperature.

Call the mental hospital on him. He is endangering his and other's life by doing that. A normal person wouldn't cut batteries in half every day.
