it would be hard to push the volvo into the garage with snow and ice + flat tire. we'd have to wait like an extra month before we could start work.

gave my cutlass a tuneup and I just like to state whoever at GM designed the location of the back bank of spark plugs on the L82 3100 should be shot in the face . It should not take two hours 2 3 ton jacks the removal of the upper intake manifold and 4 different ratchet extensions to get spark plugs out

Fitted my new full exhaust system, with help from a mate. Biggest problem we came across was the new exhaust's bolt holes were a lot smaller than those on the cat so we had to drill them out. Plus most of the heads sheared off as they're old screws but we did it between us in an hour. Then I fitted my new dvd player I got for Christmas, had to talk most of the centre console out to install the new DIN fittings as I was replacing the original.

Unfort. I gotta re-bake this one, when im this close to the garage the jog in the Cutoff is only 1 inch off center to the left. but I took her for a spin to see how it was, and @ 25-30 feeet distance, the jog is like 5 feet too far left, putting the light in drivers eyes. Didn't think it was that bad but 25 feet sure made the differnce. but its just a matter of trimming the springs a bit, and tightning the bolts on the right side of it, to pull the beam right.

spent the day getting my mate's (freely acquired) 740 in the garage before the blizzard, has a flat and doesn't run. we got to the throttle body (along with removing all sorts of other little things) before calling it a night.

I'll pop in this thread every time we make progress.
    Volvo and doesn't run...

    Impossible.

About Volvo's worked on washing mine, and cleaning the windows.

I was sick with the broken center console so I plan to replace it, though it took me an hour to get the remains of it out.

So now I have one thing I hate about Volvos.

And the fact I needed these put in.

also I haven't yet been able to change the caliper... right after I bought a new one we kinda got 30 cm more snow in just two days and there isn't a garage in miles around that I can borrow :saddowns:

Worked on buying some oil and a filter... seafoaming and changing it this weekend/Monday.

Went with Mobil1/Fram Extraguard. Using the cousins shop so I can get this stupid p.o.s. plug off. Thanks Valvoline for stripping my shit, really appreciate it.

    Pretty clever. :ninja:

Edit: Mixed up a batch of some Vegi Oil and Iso-Alcohol. I assume most of you know how a diesel works so I applied that principle to my pellet gun (spring/piston... break barrel). Shits so awesome.

    Oh yeah.

So my heads are out and all cleaned up and shit, tomorrow the new gaskets are going on and everything is going back together. I've got lots of pictures, I'll post them when I have time after I'm done.

Also have new longtube headers, and lots of go-fast parts. My mustang is going to be stupid.

Mike, I'm looking at you. We are gonna internet-race this shit.

I'm going to fix the drivers door on my dodge ram, so it will open. Shouldn't be too hard. Along with that I might make it a open exhaust and if it can be done, put a 4 barrel carb on it. Or change the valve covers to thease other one that are on a old cuda.

It's either that or rebuild the heads for experience.
