After work on the 24th I drove four hours over the mountains to my parents for christmas and the next morning got this:
-$100 cash (the new bill too)
    -MasterCard with $100 on it
-Tools (magnetic extender, magnetic bowl, gloves, pliers, WD-40 and a specialty )
-Socks and boxers (yay! I can take my 2008 pairs out of circulation!)
-Wool sweater (it isn't itchy either! :D)
    -Beer and cider
-Glasses for said beer and cider
    -Box of Pot of Gold
-Two free tanks of gas home (valued at $75,or 640km approximately)

I promptly went out and bought myself a 24x36" custom print poster (it will be ready on Wednesday) and 12 Ni-Mh AA rechargeable batteries to replace all the ones I owned that had worn out in the last year.

Welp, the 560ti I got for Christmas is a bad model and is faulty. It's been past 30 days (by 3 days) so the RMA's bad. Hopefully the nice people at Newegg can help...

An outfit for interview, Ipod Nano, $100 cash + $100 amazon card, electric shaver, some small stuff, and a bookbag.

I have no idea why they got me an Ipod I've never said I wanted one and I dont really listen to music except on youtube, so I'll probably just sell it. And the bookbag... I graduated from college a year ago.

Anyone know what to do with $40 on Amazon? I don't have anything else I want.

My favorite gift would be the Detroit Red Wings Home Jersey I got. I love it. I also got some new headphones and other things.

We just got a new kitchen and everything in our house, so I didn't got 'much'. Not that I would care if I got one or a million gifts. I'm still thankful.

I loved the first two, but I got really bored reading the third one and couldn't finish it. Maybe it was because I discovered video games in between Eldest and Brisingr.

-GeForce GTX 580, dual internal 1TB HDDs (2018.8GB total memory), Asetek WaterChill KT03-L20 PC watercooling system (Allows my computer to be overclocked to 5.0GHz comfortably), Intel Core i7-980X processor running at 3.33GHz average without overclocking it, 12GB DDR3 RAM, and 6GB of video memory. And running at a regisered core clock speed of 1628MHz. This computer is absolutely beast, ran my parents around $2,100. I told them I would help pay for it, about $600.

    - Dell UltraSharp U2311H, 1920 x 1080 res. (Monitor)

    - XBox 360 Slim 250GB HDD, Kinect set to match.

    - $200 in Futureshop gift cards.

    - $80 cash.

    - Steelseries Gaming Keyboard

    - Astro A40 gaming headset.

    - Razer Carcharias headset. (This one was from my brother though.)

    - 4000 Microsoft Points

    - $100 Prepaid Visa

    - A lot of clothes.

    - Chocolate.

    - A bunch of video games:
    - Saints Row 3
    - Red Dead Redemption
    - Fallout 1, 2, BT, 3:GOTY, F:NV
    - A ton of indie steam games.

    - A couple books:
    - The History Of The World: According To Facebook
    - World War Z
    - Zombie Survival Guide

I was impressed with how well my parents managed to get the computer down to that price. They did their research... They're 58 almost, and they can custom build a gaming comp like this? Coolest parents every. I felt like I was getting spoiled with the computer. Hell, I don't need half of the stuff on this list.

you people are spoiled. i had four gifts of mediocre/average quality and i had a great christmas. i find it a bit annoying that some of you are like "ugh i only got skyrim, l4d2, and $600 this year.".

merry christmas nonetheless but seriously. just because you didn't get a Turbo-Derp 87600 GTX GTi GX graphics card. doesn't mean that your life is over.

New owner of this, I'm really happy with it actually. I don't feel spoiled, because I spent 5k of my own money towards it, and my parents are helping me finance the rest of the it till I get out of school, then I'll pay for it myself.

I had a lovely Christmas and I got pyjamas, three packs of socks, chocolate and a simple bracelet to attach charms too. Honestly the gifts aren't what made me happy (although I did need the clothes!) but spending quality time with my family. I went to see a panto with my mum and toured the European Christmas markets in Manchester and had more fun than stuffing myself Christmas Day.
I look forward to organising more days out/parties with my family now :)
