god, this interview. I thought he got over being a huge egotistical asshole
He comes off as a huge arrogant jerk.
But so does Dan Harmon.
I'm looking for web site that has only this as a flash video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXw6znXPfy4
Its something like haygay.com (but this is not correct)...it was posted on FP couple of days ago, but i forgot where
It would probably have taken you less time to just look back through the pages....
http://hahgay.com/
Thank you, i didn't think it was posted in this thread...for real
I think a lot of what he says is pretty true. He calls out the show's formula and shortcomings. I mean a few comments are off-kilter but others are spot on (especially about it jumping the shark).
I'm not sure how contracts work, but isn't it possible for chevy to like, do his lines and shit in a terrible manner because he's sick of it?
Edited:
But yeah, what's Dan problem, why would he insult him infront of his wife and kids, that's low.
I think there's no true morally good guy or bad guy in this quarrel, both are in the wrong and in the right in certain aspects. Chase is known to be crabby and hard to work with, but let's hope his part just gets reduced, if anything. He's one of the funniest characters on the show.
It seems to me that Chevy is also frustrated that instead of doing the improv he's been doing for decades. He now has to read lines. Instead of the comedy coming from him, it's now coming from other people
Still, you don't purposely insult someone infront of his kids. Dan is a grown man, he should know better. And if the rest of the cast was involved, I don't feel comfortable watching the rest of the show.
My favorite quote of Chevy:
"And stop giving me those looks like I can't get erections!"
That's what I was saying, Dan is also in the wrong here. Both parties are involved negatively, maybe Dan moreso but Chevy is still not the white knight-victim if you know what I'm saying.
Well, the new promo certainly makes it look like a "war movie" parody. Heck, even Neil Goldman twitted the hashtag #TroyAndAbedCivilWarring.
So you can expect Saving Private Ryan jokes.
Welp, it looks like the pillow fight will be the season 3 paintball episode sub-in.
But, one of the producers said there would be more paintball this season :(
Brilliant episode, one of the best ever
Haha, that was a great episode. Pierce's pillowman costume was amazing. Not to mention the countless photography jokes.
Screw the paintball episode, Pierce's pillow robot thing was pretty boss. who needs guns when you have pillows? ;)
Aha! Called it. You wanna know something, this was a fucking awesome episode.
And I don't care if we don't have a paintball episoed- wanna know why? This hit all the chords. It hit the awesome chord, it hit the funny chord, it hit the parody chord, it hit the tearjerker chord and it hit the heartwarming chord.
I literally had a tear in my eye when Abed received Troy's text message. Also, did anyone call the number on the screen?
this episode was not enjoyable at all
Edited:
keith david was good though
All i could hear at the start was anderson from mass effect.
Edit : Holy crap, pierces costume = new halloween costume.
I'm just going to have to assume that because other people liked it, you're going to have to hate it.
no i hated it before i even saw the thread
do you enjoy anything that isn't 100% perfectly made
I swear Rusty is just trolling at this point.
no it was just a bad episode
Let Rusty have his own opinion, everyone finds different things entertaining. Stop getting mad that one person didn't like the episode.
It wasn't a great episode, but it would be one I would recommend to a friend if he wanted to get a glimpse of community.
really? because it's not at all like any other community episode
I guess you need to watch a lot of other TV and movies to understand this show now?
With every episode it feels like it drifts more and more into parodies and references of things I've never seen instead of jokes that you don't need prior information to understand.
Was this last episode supposed to be referencing war documentaries? Because it did it so well I actually fell asleep out of boredom.
Better than the previous 2 episodes but I didn't really like it all that much. This show has really gone downhill.
This show has jumped the shark
RIP
It was really different, yeah, but I enjoyed it.
jk omg this show is dead lmao RIP
The show may not die, but it might as well
To be honest though, I always found the show on the cusp of funniness anyway so this is hardly surprising that they've managed to ruin it
i really liked this episode, i thought it was a great homage/parody
Edited:
and I'll say that Pierce's pillow suit was the first time I've laughed out loud at Community for quite a while
That episode was fucking stupid.
omg you muST be TROLLINg like RUSTY WAS!!!
Joel McHale was on Hulu's "A Day in the Life" series. The first half is all The Soup related, but the second half of the episode is him on set shooting the finale for season 3.
