like, oh i dunno, realistic colouring. sadly, this is a dying art in basically everything. games are brown, movies are blue or brown, and now so are poses. be creative, little snowflakes.
Woo. That's what I was doing in that gunship picture thing.
I noticed while I was on holiday on the very sunny island of Mallorca that, while we colour everything absolutely orange and yellow and brown when we make pictures where we want to convey the feeling of heat (like generic military desert pictures and the like), when there isn't a cloud in the sky the environment is actually tinted slightly blue.
People need to take more note of these things if they want to make "realistic" pictures. If you don't want to make realistic pictures though that's cool - just keep on trucking and making atmospheric pictures with desaturation and crazy colour modding. I don't care either way I just thought it was an interesting point.
