I do say, that German has a rather nasty nosebleed!
He looks like he sneezed blood.
lol... Why am I being rated funnies? :psyduck:
The image is down.
Damn you filesmelt!
Use tiny pic, it might take some time, but it saves pictures for years.
You used filesmelt? Filesmelt refuses to load on my computer but for some reason i see it
Reuploaded
Oh wait wahahahaha you made it look so funny, i almost passed out laughing.
And for the teensiest second I thought the title said "Kurit getting shot"
was dissapointed
Why... Rated.... Funnies... Can't ... Grasp... The fact... :psyboom:
At least make your muzzleflash connect to the barrel.
Your avatar fits.
Because the Kraut's expression and the fact that it looks like he has a bloody nose make this look like the guy is sneezing and dropping his gun.
So one guy tells me that the muzzleflash must be further away from the barrel, not directly coming from it.
And now you contradict him :I
:psypop:
Rifles are different from pistols. Oh wait that's wrong, when i said away from the barrel i meant that the muzzle-flash was disapearing.
Noted :buddy:
hmmm wouldn't he be pushed back abit more?
This blood reminds me of my editing.
Is that a compliment?
That's not an accurate bayonet on there my friend.
Also, I cracked up for a good 30 seconds at the German's face..I like it though.
That bullet would of blown his head off. The M1Grand doesn't shoot out pellets.
Probably because 95% of FP posters have never actually touched a real gun let alone shot one, but all profess to be experts on the subject anyway. Obviously games and movies are an accurate representation of real life.
I'll add a long list of things you need to work on later, gotta get a train in a few minutes
That would be most brilliant my good sir.
Okay, back home now.
- Wrong bayonet, as mentioned
- Muzzleflash looks like a yellow-white smear and for some reason doesn't overlap the bayonet, despite the bayonet being directly in line with the barrel. When they actually do show up visibly, they look rather like a fireball. During daylight or in bright artificial light, they're almost invisible and usually all you notice is a puff of smoke; size of the flash and how soon it'll appear after things get dark depends largely on the barrel length and the round fired - Mosin-Nagant M44 carbines are like flamethrowers, whereas I've yet to actually see any noticeable flash from my Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.I. Someone who owns an M1 might be able to shed some light on how much of a flash those put out.
- The posing is too contrived. They look like they're just casually playing 'let's take it in turns to shoot each other in the face at point blank range'.
- I wouldn't expect a lot of blood spurt from the entry wound, but at that range, I'd expect a good quarter of the German's head to be blown away in chunks at the exit. .30-06 is a powerful round, and that close up... yeah. Heads aren't watermelons, but nor are they solid chunks of rubber. A lot of scalp, blood, skull frags and brain matter would be blasting back from the exit wound.
- The lighting on the background and the lighting on the soldiers is too contrasted, particularly on the American. He's way too dark compared to his surroundings.
Well it dosent fire 50. cal BMG either u idiot. Learn something about guns before u say something about them. :P
hurr typical gun pro giving tips aggresively.
Are you stupid? The round is about as thick as your eye socket. Might as well split someones face if the caliber is flying at the right distance. I barely know shit about real weapons, but I do know real-life examples.
Also: If you are going to be a dick, then please keep quiet If you don't want to start trouble. It's constructive criticism. He wants my opinion, so I give him a realistic answer.
Hello, welcome here, you seem to be a nice guy.
omg u no so much about guns teach me
One more thing for the op. The coloring on the original looks much better then the edited one.
Pretty much what Rossmum said. The posing overall is pretty good, but the american's head is looking off in a completely different direction. His firing hand posing is pretty awkward, too. It looks like he's trying to hold it like the weapon has a pistol grip, even though it doesn't.
The german's time consistency is fucked. If that's the moment of impact, why is he reacting so much, and why has he dropped his weapon? Was he preparing to surrender a split moment beforehand, but then the american shot him?
Nah, I doubt that's the case.
Cool hypocrisy.
The term zipperhead came from North Koreans getting their heads blown open by the issued 7.62x63mm (.30-06) caliber M1 Garands.
12.7x99 (.50 BMG) is going about the same velocity as .30-06, but it has about four to five times as much energy and weight. Even out to a kilometer it still has twice as much energy as .30-06 has.
As thick as your eye socket?
Oh, you mean as wide?
It's projectile is .30 inches in diameter, or 7.62 millimeters. The casing has a length of 63 millimeters. Hence the name 7.62x63.
.30-06 means it's a .30 caliber projectile, and it was introduced in 1906. Hence the name.
Your first sentence i marked, is because i can't pose anything to hold a rifle without a pistol grip for shit. And the second is because at first i had a completely opposite idea from the final product. Any tips to improve ?
Well when it comes to time consistency, if it's the moment of impact or shortly after it (enough time for the blood and bits of flesh to fly out), then the person should be jerked off looking away from where the got hit, grimacing or looking surprised, and their weapon appearing to slip out of proper holding, or beginning to drop out of their hands.
loen's posts get the ross stamp of approval.
too many people on fp think they know shit about guns because they watch a lot of b movies or play mw2. this man knows his shit for real.
Right in the schnoz .
u don't fuck with first ranger division.
Agreed. Loen REALLY knows his stuff. Coolest bro too. :buddy:
As far as the shot goes, most everything that I would say has been said. But what hasn't been said is that the flash looks weird and isn't even emitting some sort of glow.
Wow, this thread jumped right into a gun nut argument war
Thanks for the advice though.
