It looks good.
Looks pretty nice although you should brace yourself because Brown Pictures have not been receiving very many nice comments as of late.
I heard , next time i will do more rainbows.
The pistol doesn't really fit in with all the futuristic armour, Unless it's meant to be symbolic or something.
Colorfull though on the non brown version, shoulda put that one up first, however The eyes vertical glow goes on for too long.
It's nice though.
Just because you got futuristic armor , doesn't mean you have to have a futuristic gun along with it.

Didn't think he'd be an avid old timey gun collecter.![]()
And just who might this fellow be?
Soldier #487 How could you not remember him.
Your avatar is better :P
nice
Rusted 1911 yeah... no
Edited:
fuck taokaka. She is a character based only on gimmicks.
pounce pounce pounce.
one of the most easily punished characters.
OP needs to play melty blood and get addicted to maids or some shit.
model link?? *0*
amazing *-*
Cool phong. (I think.)
do you have the download link (model)?? :D
Someone is a little butthurt.
What game is that soldier from? Also, i like 2nd one more :3 cs_office?
Blacklight , you can find them on gmod.org.
No matter what some few others say that picture is nice. You possibly could have filled out that space in background with something if you like but I won't really judge about that, because people have their own style. Open background is sometimes good thing too if you want to make it look like something.... open.![]()
That model is so frigging awesome. Someone tell me where I can get it and what it's called. Good pictures, btw.
Thanks.
Good Posing, I like it.
Nice trigger discipline there.
That model's pretty neat, what's it from? Anyway, posing's all pretty solid, but the legs are bending too much, and sticking out forward too much. If he was leaning his torso forward to counter-balance it would be fine, but otherwise his legs need to be more centered.
It's almost 2011 now, and the 1911 is still widely in use with civilians, police, and military alike.
Who's to say it won't go atleast another 50? Firearms have barely advanced any in the last 60 years aside for modularity.
^^ This man speaks the truth.
The whole Futuristic helmet kinda threw me off :c
Can't hold this against anyone but goddamn Super dof still sucks.
Actually it's getting phased out by the M9 in all of the things you mentioned except the MARSOC who have the sexy marine made MEU mod of the 1911
Yes I'm butthurt about people liking a character from a garbage scrub friendly game
Too bad the M9 is ridiculously large and bulky for what it is and gums up real nice what with that open slide. I heard talk Canada was going to phase out the BHP in favour of the M9 and I nearly had a fucking stroke.
The US military really needs to worry less about fucking politics and personal favours and more about SHIT THAT'S ACTUALLY GOOD when it comes to procurement. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the M9, I just hate it as a military sidearm. As a range gun or a carry gun for people who can get away with something that beefy, it's just fine and dandy.
(John Moses Browning supremacy :patriot:)
I concur. My buddy's always tell me how much they hate their M16s. It's fucking retarded that the military gives them the same shitty weapon we've been using since Nam.
Where is everyone getting these models?
Be careful not to confuse soldiers complaining about literally everything with legitimate problems. We tend to shit all over what we're issued and bitch and moan and piss until we get what we want, at which point we 'realise' (read: decide) what we want is rubbish, too. The natural exception, of course, is when you have something nobody else does :haw:
Although the M16 (like the Steyr) has its issues still, it's a solid weapon and development has fixed a lot of the shortcomings it was designed with. The M9, on the other hand, just is not designed for a combat environment. It was designed for range shooters, people with CCW permits, and cops.
This is turning into a weapons discussion thread.
I don't mind , but just don't derail too much.
The M9 isn't ridiculously large, it's the same size as the 1911. Which is big for it's caliber, but it's not like it's a Mk 23 or a Desert Eagle.
I've seen plenty of torture test videos of the beretta. It's reliable enough for military use (especially given that sidearms have limited purpose), and is a damn accurate pistol.
Lemme guess, you think AR-15 pattern rifles are jam-O-matic, right?
The only reason the M16 has that reputation was because of problems early on with poor ammunition quality, non-chrome lined barrels with an improper twist rate for the loading used, and the fact that they labeled the rifle "self cleaning" and didn't even hand out any sort of basic operation and cleaning instruction manuals.
Those problems were fixed in the later half of the war with the introduction of proper ammunition and the M16A1, which adressed and fixed the problems of the original M16 and it's prototypes which the military jumped the gun (haw haw) to issue.
So if the AR is SOOO bad, why do various militaries including the British, Greek, and Italian SOF units prefer it over their ordinary infantry weapons?
I'm so lost
Anyway, enough firearms talk.
I really like the lighting on the model, but the background looks terrible. It's all blurred, but has this weird speckling to it.
Dude, the thing is a monster. The BHP has a reputation (at least here) for being big and heavy for a still-in-service 9mm automatic, and the M9 makes it look small.
Also torture tests mean very little when they're given to the military, because that entails the usually incorrect assumption they're going to be even slightly looked after
It's not a bad gun, just ill-suited to the role, particularly when cheaper, smaller, lighter, and more reliable options have been available for the last 75 years. v:shobon:v
Well not my fault that Garry made Super DoF like that. I don't understand why he changed it.
Honestly I think the new system might be a better representation of how an eye perceives DoF, but I can't tell for sure because every time I try and see what I'm not focusing on looks like I focus on it and it fucks me up :smith:
True dat.
