As long as there are offscreen things to shoot, there will be poses of people shooting in the general direction of them.

It's because there have been waaay too many of these ultra-desaturated war pictures that it has gotten boring. Variety is the spice of life, nobody likes to see the same thing over and over.

If you have a problem with the filter then say it. Having a problem with the color and a problem with the filters are two different problems. I personally think the filter is fine, it's more fun to look at then that shitty dull look of garrysmod. If you don't like it make suggestions on how to set up filters. There is litterally no pleasing you people.

You argue with every goddamn thing we say, and despite accusing us of looking desperate you have absolutely nothing to back your claims nor your disputes with regards to what we actually say. I advise that you read thoroughly before making a comment. It's possible to be constructive without being specific. I feel that the best kind of criticism is the kind that lets you figure things out on your own, rather than hand feeding you what you should do. In a situation like this, I wouldn't say that he must make this part of the picture orange and this part of the picture blue etc. etc. I would tell him what I think needs to change and see how he changes it.
If you tell people what to do then they never have the chance to evolve their own style.

you are right, it is possible, however the difference between pointing out obvious issues with a specific solution or allowing them to problem solve on their own is not my argument. I mainly have a problem with people trying to criticise someone elses work when they have no idea what theyre talking about. But yes, you are right and your point is very correct. In some cases the person needs help on understanding the issue so they can get better. if the person doesnt have a solution they shouldent be talking. I believe in direct efficient criticism. I feel its a waste to point out obvious things. For the most part i avoid this when criticising constructively, on a different note,. sometimes i just point something out just to point it out.

No, critics for movies are on a whole different level. The gmod is community is supposed to be encouraging and make suggestions on how someone can improve. The movie critics have a set agenda that goes straight to the point to give a movie its rating. Professional pieces of work dont need encouragement, gmod film makers do.
