    thanks everyone, finally recorded some cool looking scenes, but nothing extreme.

    Well my first project was a big fail. I hosted 60 fps, because I was going to put it in Slo-mo, half frames, 30fps. So anyways, After i exported it with Virtual dub, the frame rate was set to match audio output, 60fps, and when I previewed the clip, which was 1.5gb, even with the UT RGB Codec. It was laggy as shit, and the audio is out of sync, though I selected it to be in sync with the video duration. Not sure what is up with that.

    VirtualDub's preview isn't really reliable as far as I know

    Especially for a 60 fps clip

    I'm talking about as an .AVI file. When I viewed it, it was quite laggy. But oh well, it was probably because it was 60 fps. I'm working on something else and it's going quite well.

    when you play your clip on virtualdub it will be laggy but when you get your final product it will be smooth.

    Yes, i viewed it in the media player, it had spikes. I could upload it, but it's too big of a file right now.
