It is often their first post to. I am tempted to think some make new account and do this over for some obscure reason. And it is never presented any work so the "voice actors" can see what they are getting involved in.

are you people dumb? this is OBVIOUSLY the greatest machinima of all time. i've taken the liberty of talking to PLAZMACHARGE personally and he's given me some info -- i'm going to be the lead voice actor in this masterpiece and i'm requesting that other talented voice actors join in IMMEDIATELY. we can't give out any information as of current and you have to sign a non-disclosure agreement and will be fined if you talk about this because it's bound to become a commercial product. but let me put it this way: this project is going to be huge. nothing can be unveiled at the moment but I'll be honest; I am absolutely surprised at how well this looks and how well written the script is and how original it is. The assets and resources, especially, are incredible.
PLAZMACHARGE knows what he's doing. don't be fooled at his grammar at all. he's got pull in Hollywood and so do I -- in fact, he's hired me to be his assistant manager and also let me be in the credits as an executive producer and I'll do everything in my power to make sure that this machinima will not fail like all Garry's Mod machinimas ever made.
just trust me and PLAZMACHARGE on this: it's going to be epic and you're going to shit your pants when you see the teaser/trailer. he's shown me some of his stuff. this guy seriously knows what he's doing.

I'm with 69105, I've talked to this guy before and he's actually been around the block a few times with machinimas, he's better known on Interlopers and HL2world than here. But this could be the WotS killer right here.

Also, hey, guys, if you want any information that I can unveil before you sign the NDA, just leave a post here and I'll get back to you. PLAZMACHARG doesn't really ever have the time to respond so he's given me permission to speak on his behalf and provide public relations.
Pretty much we're looking for various users who can provide support in the movie making process. It's being rendered entirely in Source but it's utilizing assets that have never been used in machinimas, mainly following my in-game editing style. We're looking for numerous people who are willing to join a server (purchased and hosted at a later date when all assets are in their completed form) so we can create a cohesive studio interface that allows users to control lighting and whatnot while PLAZMACHARG can direct and record on his own in conjunction with in-game actors utilizing handmade animation overrides.
Also, we obviously need voice actors. Post some samples and/or prior history if you can here and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
This is bound to be a community project so the reason I want you to post it here is because I want everyone to voice their opinions on your talent. If need be, I'll create a dialogue for you (but the dialogue will be different from the story itself because we don't want to unveil anything; it will be closer fitting to your normal personality style and what potential characters you are fit to play as)

This might seem like a joke but I'm absolutely serious about this: I've been thinking about starting a project like this for a long time but there's no way that anybody would ever take me seriously. PLAZMACHARG has changed this: his development team is already mustering up some of the greatest assets I've ever seen in Source. you should see the Source build they are rendering this on. If you saw it you would never believe it to be real. You think Portal 2 has something to show off? You'd be greatly mistaken.
I'm honored to be part of this massive endeavor. I'm not going to sit here and explain myself to you -- you're either in or you're out. This has the potential to become a full-blown commercial product and thus right now is prime time to join before places get filled and you get less noticeable roles.

I would take this seriously. I googled his name and yeah he is well known in machinima apparently. i might send a voice sample. i just dont know what to say or do.
Can you give some examples of what you want in the type of voice? (ex: British accent, Asian accent etc.)

Well, I'd like to ask for something specific but I'd like to hear your voice first in it's neutral form (meaning no acting required; just talking). Find something to read and just read it so I can get a feel for what characters tie in best to your voice and then I'll give you specific voice samples. Think you can do that?

I don't have any previous acting experience and I've got a microphone headset (also have a more professional microphone but nothing like a pop-guard) but I really like imitating characters and quoting games/films.
Just record a segment of dialogue and send it over to you?

I'm not interested. All I see is 69015 using dramatic language to tell everyone how great of a machinima he's going to make, whereas he's not even the OP.
I'm not convinced in any way whatsoever, I don't get why there's such a big following on this, all I see is 69015 telling everyone how great his video will be and others somewhat believing him.
I want some example footage here. It sounds like it would be great if it's a WOTS killer, however I haven't seen anything that proves that it will be.
