"And that would be the one..."
More than your average generic war pose! Had some good fun editing this one (I think this is probably my best explosion yet) If you're wondering about the lack of motion blur, I was going for a Hurt Locker/Behind Enemy Lines slow motion kinda look (I also got the idea for him to be firing his gun from Behind Enemy Lines)
I've had the idea for this scene jingling around in my head for quite some time. I always thought it would be sweet to have a scene like this in some FPS game.

I lol'ed at how they soldiers are posed, it looks a bit cheesy, but the explosion is ubber fucking awesome.

Oh! Now I know what this scene makes me think of! The lighting of the sky and the soldier models make me think of Wolverines! from Modern Warfare 2. I like that.

Looks hot in more than one way. Amazingly well done explosion. Although it looks like the shock wave only hit them in the stomach considering the way they bend.

I went for that typical movie "getting flung away from an explosion" pose that you see all the time

Saw why this often is the case in movies. When the line they have around the waist is yanked to simulate being hit by a shock wave, they fold like that. Some use shoulder straps as well to avoid this.

If i were to give this criticism it'd just be a personal thing with me, but i'd prefer a slight radial blur -> zoom on the picture seeing as it's a first person perspective, as well as slight motion blurring on the guys being flung through the air but to be honest, everything looks so amazing i don't think that should apply.
The definition in the smoke and the dust... Everything looks so clean and crisp that blurring it might ruin that, so i don't know
