The creativity is gone here, the comic makers call on other people to come up with ideas for them.

Ah, how much I miss the good ol' art-ish comics from a couple of years ago.
Nothing but a faint memory remains

    Damn you, nostalgia.

there are only two good interactive comics.

No more milk (It's dead though) and MM: the game.

but only because madman can pose and actually have a decent computer unlike every other interactive comic maker.

And let's not forget the fact that his comics at least have a story to them.

Just about every other interactive comic has this scenario, or something similar to it: "You wake up and find yourself in a room. What will you do?" Only one picture is normally made in the first post (and into; that of some Joe-Schmuck slumped against a wall in some storage room or such, usually a simple retexture of a citizen model (half of the time its Male_07). Bad posing, boring plot (if a plot even exists), bland camera angles, and poorly-written dialog. Have I just accurately described most of the interactive comics that appear on this forum?

Actually dude this shit started popping up back before you joined.
Granted they have been appearing more and more frequently as of late, but it's in no way your own doing (well, okay, it might be).

Here's a little FP history session for those of you who weren't around (and no, I am not BSing, Divided, The Auriga (if he's still around), hell a bunch of people who used to be regulars here may recall it.):
The fad actually kicked off back in early 05 with some comic called 'The Interactive Vending Machine' or something like, anyway, it was, allegedly, quite popular because it was unique (as most comics back then were, as far as GMod comics go anyway), I toyed around with the idea of doing something like, eventually found where the screenshots I took in GMod went, I posted something called 'Exmortis' - based on the flash game of the same name (brilliant game btw, would recommend it for those with an avid interest in horror), anyways, it went okay, spanned a few pages, wasn't much special aside from slightly above average posing and, come a few months after 'Exmortis 2' (which went on 1/4 as long as the first did, and was actually pretty bad now that I look back on it), a bunch of people were doing it, some better than others. Hell I think either Near Elite or Joker even did a comic on the rising fad, I think there was even an "inter-comic books section forum 'war'" because of the rising number of interactive comics.

Anyway, they sorta died out after a bit, I guess you've gone and done what I did back in 06...

Actually I take back what I said earlier, this is entirely your fault.

I was actually the guy who made the comic about the interactive comic fad. It has reappeared many times during my time here, and everytime it's awful. Like it is now. I'm on Clover's side.

Oh yeah i know i didn't START interactive comics, i just mean maybe the ones i did is what caused the more frequent appearings of these interactives as of late.

Or maybe i'm an idiot, that works too.

    Ze drama, it's astounding!

Clover, I didn't even know you were here to begin with.

There are rarely really few even decent-ish interactive comics... I'm only bothered by one at the moment, the others I don't even care to look at.

Maybe I should bother enough to actually make something again... mayb-... naaaah, not now.
