The point of a screenie is something you made, not going into a map, going towards an animation, turning on a light and then putting Gman in the back thinkin' it's funny and take a picture and say you made a pose.

It's an NPC with the NPC animation tool thingy on Gmod.org and he selected her with a pistol. 'Nuff said.

Wow, slenderman so far in the background that he's barely noticeable. I'm so scared. Here's a tip though, if a slenderman screenshot is what you wanted to do, you have to give it atmosphere, otherwise it's just a poorly posed ragdoll.
This too. Honestly, don't bother posting sreenshots if you didn't actually pose them yourself.

I have to agree with you there. I'm no artist... but since I can't seem to find a Slender Man ragdoll, I had to use G-man (darkened and slimmed), the charred dude (whitened and colored flesh), and I used a poison and fast headcrab for the hands (bodies shrunk, limbs slimmed, material-ed bark, and colored dark).

GTFO? I posed that G-Man myself. I actually take that remark as a compliment. Compare my G-Man to a standing one, you'll see the difference.

Dude I had one vort slave in the foreground. It's supposed to be a kid, with a flashlight, getting spotted by the G-Man talking with the Slender Man. The NPC is there because that dude works there. It's his job. So what if I used the NPC, that's how I wanted it. I'm sorry that I didn't take the time to pose him myself, but seriously, he was already there. Why not use him?

Did you even read my post? I said that slenderman was way too far into the background for it to hive the effect you wanted. Me saying that clearly shows that I saw him. If you can't take criticsm then don't bother posting.

Take a look at the other screenshots in this section. We don't even use the idle NPCs let alone the Vort in the Station sweeping the ground. Your efforts into trying to explain the screenshot are also bad, especially since you only just put half an hour of effort into it.

No, it still takes skill to pose. And I'm obviously a beginner when it comes to that. But, honestly, the vort is just scenery, like the boxes and the fence. I'm sorry that I hit some sort of taboo nerve of yours, but I really don't care. I made the picture how I liked it, and I wanted other people to see it. If you don't like it, fine. That's your choice, and I'm glad that you are free to express it, but don't lecture me on insignificant things like using NPC in pics. I don't care.

Sorry Punkrock77, I didn't use quote. It was for the guy that said that it was just an NPC and a map. Which I don't deny. He was absolutely right about that.
EDIT again: I actually spent most of the time loading GMod, and uploading the file. I'm sorry that you don't care for NPC. I understand that.

Using NPCs is usually a significant thing in Screenshots. People here pose positions with ragdolls, the use of NPCs at all is just considered half-canning your efforts. And if you don't care, then feel free continue to post your images, just don't expect much praise.

That's fine by me. From here on out, I'll tag my NPC posts... that is if I even post any more. Like I said, I just did it for the LOL's. I thought I would make a Slender Man picture or two, have some people shit bricks, and have a laugh. Well I did post the pics... people shat bricks (though not over the S. Man)... but it seems the only one laughing here is me.
If using an NPC is "half-canning" it, then using GMod is REALLY half-canning it. GMod lets people who can't draw make art. And to say that someone else's technique is wrong is like saying that you don't like impressionism because "it's too fuzzy."
EDIT: Ok, for the record, I didn't mean that the vort was the kid, I meant that the POV was the kid's POV.

I have to admit you are a glorious example of the awesomeness that can be Woman.
But I apologized, so that should be a testament to me lighthearted nature. I really didn't mean to offend anyone by using NPC's. I just have a minimalist nature when it comes to doing things. why spend 30 minutes posing a vort slave when the NPC looks fine, and I can spend it making the rest of the picture look better?
