Here is a useable L4D minigun for your battles and such.

I am sad to say it is an Adv_Duplicator file... BUT it's wired so you can sit and aim with your mouse.

and ...OH YEAH! You need Wire SVN.

The download includes the facer tool, so you are probably using that. If you're gonna post a turret, then at least make it out of props. This is just one model that takes no effort at all.

First off, make it spin. It's a damn minigun.

Maybe you could make it so you don't have to sit in a pod either. Something that makes it original.
And don't use facer. Use an expression or something. I don't want to install an addon just to use a dupe.

How he did this.
1. Spawn pod.
2. Make pod invisible.
3. Put an advanced pod controller on the pod and link it.
4. Set the model to use with the facer (Right click on the minigun model)
5. Spawn it and wire the x,y,z values to the pod controller. Same with on and active.
6. Make everything except the gun invisible.

This is what he could have done.
1. Made it with phx or vanilla props so he could make it actually spin when firing. (Besides not everybody have l4d and i've certainly not seen servers with it)
2. Make it go slower than the mouse or something using a smoother. Limit angles.
3. Use an e2 instead of a facer because not all servers have facer.
4. Made it not require a pod, like, you don't have to sit in a vehicle to use it.

The point about the facer is that you can't spawn this on a server that doesn't have it.

McNab, your turret is NOT a contraption, it is a two second turret job on a model with facer attached.

This has no appeal to anyone here because A. you did not create the L4D model B. it is a total of three entities (hense the 'two second job') C. you cannot use this on a server unless they already have the model and facer D. nobody uses facer anymore E. the barrels don't even spin.

Before posting anything in the contraption section, maybe you should LOOK around beforehand.

i DID NOT post this in the contraptions section. the mods did it for me. i posted this in the garrysmod disscussion but, like i said, it was moved. and why would i rate myself dumb? and how do i rate everyone dumb 3 times? Can you make a minigun with this model with spinning cylinders? i didnt think so.
