i just realized that nick was shot in the neck. he would have been standing straight up, and if you rotate nick up to 90 degrees, the red trail from the drawing hits his neck. He would still have a facial expression if he was shot away from the face. And, there would be a lot more blood. So, the part about the bullet hitting his nose is false; he was shot in the neck.

I think everyone in this thread apart from Angry Baker has failed to realise how fast a bullet moves and for what a tiny amount of time a muzzleflash appears, even in the dark. Nick should barely have moved since the bullet hit him.
