Well, I'm one of those vanilla junkies so I don't use Wire, but I found that using wheels as gyroscopes and putting thrusters on them is a great way to make contraptions float.

^Thats only true in a few cases. Iosekki just joined and all of his stuff is some of the best on the forums. But most people who just joined are stupid minges and don't know the general guidelines of the forum

Use balanced thrusters on the underside of your contraption; once you get the power settings just right you can hover in mid-air without any wire bullcrap. It won't fly like a plane though, more like a helicopter
