The fact of matter is some people have natural talent, like you. That's not a bad thing in any way. Others have to perfect their skills over time. And even then, that amount of time is vastly different. I've been here since 2006 and still totally haven't perfected my skill.

But still, none of this ultimately matters, because gmod screenshots and ragdoll posing has, and always will, only have a small niche of people that care about it, because it's just something we all do in our free time.
All in all, it's just a hobby.

Its just they get completely ingored/ half the comments I get on 'funny' pictures (I call them wicked mind things)
So now I'm demotivated to make serious pictures :/

There's a simple reason behind it - look at my post count. I'm not saying that post count means anything, but when you post in pretty much every screenshots thread, people are bound to know your name.

Its not 100% true.
People stopped ignoring me when I got better. Now I get atleast 2 or 3 good comments which helps me improving.
I agree on the part that you have to be incredible bad or incredible good to get more comments.

Well, the main point i'm trying to make with this is that you can get the same quality content from 2 people, but one gets more noticed because of his/her name. I'm not saying that the people that do get noticed havent worked to get themselves there. I know that if I (or anybody) improves and stays active, they can become well known too.

It was fun reading through these comments and see what people think :D
