Awesomeness.
I really like the muzzles and lightning on the left one.
I love those glows from the muzzleflashes.
Something I wish I knew how to do D:
i really like them
How do you do your muzzles anyway?
mine sucks and i can't find any decent tutorials
It's Vman's latest technique that he so nicely helped me out with. Basically it uses splatter brushes and lots and lots of duplicating layers and guassian blur to get the glow, plus a little bit of motion blur where it's needed.
Cavalry
heres Messywood.
I am now, in love with you.
cool but im getting bored of everyone doing action poses
Nice muzzleflashes there Chesty! Today I was practicing my muzzleflashes on GIMP and was wondering how people around here made them so good, that little tip might be really helpful :) Also nice DoF and Posing.
This, some non-generics would be nice.
Practice is practice.
Got an idea that isn't dudes shooting other dudes (or the edge the screen)? Feel free to tell me.
Steampunk for the win.

How is that a suggestion? You have just stated a genre of fantasy fiction.
I don't think there are any models that could represent that genre anyway.
Chesty please teach me your ways *_*
Nice.
Ah, you used my technique. To a very good effect too i might add :keke:
Keep up the good work!
Very nice pic as usual and the music fits well.
Thanks a lot Vdude. Gracias again for the help.
Phew. I'm glad that went down well. It came on just as I was finishing the editing and I was like "OH SNAP this fits so well!".
Is there a free photoshop or for photoshop you must pay?
Gimp.
Great editing.
I use gimp i suck with it i cant get any good blood
it wouldn't be much of a difference if you used photoshop, just learn to use it
Just curious what do you use for editing then? Photoshop or Gimp because i understand Gimp but not Photoshop
I believe vman and chesty use Gimp and they do really well
Edited:
oh and chesty what gun model is that on the far left
GIMP is as great as Photoshop, there might be some random things that are easier to do with Photoshop because of its Plug-ins but you can always find your way into achieving the same effects in GIMP.
But enought derailing on Chesty's thread guys!
Oops almost forgot. Great posing and the muzzle flash fits perfectly with the lighting
Oh c'mon, I was only starting out.
What a shitty skin on those models.
Editing is really good.
go download some good GIMP blood brushes. there are lots of them.
oh yeah, nice muzzle flashes and posing, keep it up.
damn, thats nice
Thanks for the comments guys... apart from you-know-who.
I don't![]()
Nice steam.
Huh? Oh... hahaha. Oh.
Yeah these weapons aren't from a steampunk comic.
:P
They don't remind me of Combine.
That's a shame. I think the camo does a good job of getting the point across. Each to his own, I suppose.
mines not action :P its post action, who's you know who? and well you could do some ummm... not sure maybe some work poses? enter the sex pose mega thread? joking don't i do not plan to go in there maybe some sporty poses?
I was thinking of doing an American football picture, with rebels vs Combine. Perhaps I will do that.
Btw, what I was inferring when I linked your thread, is that two soldiers stood still staring at the camera is a lot more generic and boring than some guys shooting off-screen with nice editing.
Isnt there something wrong with the shell from the middle guy's gun? It's in front of the muzzleflash?
