So production of the Vortigaunt pictures have been slow lately. I made this one before Mercati Fu'lant but I wanted that one posted first because this is the beginning of an actual chronological event. I also forgot to pose a picture for The Krovex that were mentioned in the previous one so I may make that as a bonus soon.

Pit Scroungers/Hive Robbers
A Pit Scrounger is a Vortigaunt who volunteers to venture into the Antlion Pit Hives to collect antlion eggs, larval Extracts, honey, and anything else of use within the hive. Often the eggs are collected as trophies, food, or even for breeding on the surface, so long, dangerous journeys don't have to be ventured upon to meet Vortigaunt needs. Some Pit Scroungers have been known to use the antlion eggs to breed them for blood sports and profit. Though the practice has been deemed illegal and barbaric, that has not stopped some Vortigaunts from hosting such tournaments. One Vortigaunt of interest, who profited extensively off antlion blood sports was Adek Ly'rek. The Council had him exiled when it was discovered, but after his exiled time was finished he returned to his life of luxury. Adek Ly'rek now resides within Central Xen Space. He has averted all of the Nihilanth's military drafts by his immense wealth. Hive Robbers are often Vortigaunts who venture into Pit Hives for personal gains, often they seek the larval Extract which they then sell to the highest bidder on the black market.
Doran Kru'fex
Doran Kru'fex was one of the few religious military commanders to be admired for his unselfish bravery during The Thoopnik Wars. For a time he was known far and wide as a kind general deeply attached to his duty and to his comrades. His popularity grew because of his positive demeanor and his kindness towards any Thoopnik prisoners and wounded. Unfortunately during one of the Thoopnik raids he was severely wounded by a Thoopnik warrior's highly venomous barbs after it leapt on to him. Although he was not killed, his medical condition made sure that he would not be able to return to the battlefield for the rest of his life, forcing him into retirement. Instead of becoming a lay-about retiree like generals prior to him, he decided to become a Pit Scrounger.
Ra'ven Ku
Ra'ven was the youngest Vortigaunt born into a very traditional family along with his three siblings Deesh'na, Weeb'ja, and Ki'la. His father, Salm'nek Ku believed that all male Vortigaunts should do their duty to their higher powers as he called 'Servants of The Void'. Ra'ven's brothers, Deesh'na and Weeb'ja followed these words to the letter, joined the military and ended up dying for what they believed. Ra'ven's mother Far'ka and his sister Ki'la followed the traditional feminine way of life by cleaning, cooking, reproducing, and farming. Ra'ven feared death more than he should have at his age, and therefore hated the idea of joining the military for a cause he did not fully believe in. In defiance to his father he became a Pit Scrounger. For his deliberate defiance he was disowned by his father. Because of his age Ra'ven Ku was paired with retired war veteran Doran Kru'fex. Doran and Ra'ven quickly became friends and Doran took him in as the son he never had. They were well known among small villages for the rarities they would deliver, but often frowned upon by larger cities for wasting their commodities in insignificant places.
