Now, here's where things will chronologically progress, as a sort of long story, and I know it's a long read but don't be lazy. Trust me when I say it's more work to write these than to read them.

Urulozan's Discovery
Urulozan She'lukah was a Vortigaunt poet and writer who began growing in popularity due to his beautiful poems describing nature, and his seemingly first hand experiences with some of the deadliest creatures in all Xen Space. His writings often required for him to spend many long weeks living in the wilderness studying a creature he wishes to write about. In the Xen spring of 2242 B.C.F. Xen Years, Urulozan found a structure unlike any he had ever seen. It was an obscurely shaped metallic structure that seemed to have forced itself into the dirt. On one end of the structure was a broken transparent barrier revealing the hollow innards of the structure. Within the structure Urulozan found a creature unlike any he had ever seen. He saw that whatever it was, was gravely injured. Urulozan proceeded to drag the creature to his temporary living area, a cave in the nearby mountain range. He did his best to patch up the creature's wounds, he found it to be odd that given the size of some of the wounds there wasn't much blood escaping them. Urulozan began taking notes on the creature's physical appearance for future reference. His descriptions were as follows:
• Two eyes, Two legs, two arms, five fingers and toes for each hand and foot
• Pale skin, two nostril holes on the face, short sharp nails, lean figure
• Bone supported frills lining vertically from the forehead to the back of the neck
• No apparent mouth, but slight epidermal difference on lower face
• Pale pearly violet eye color/eyeball
• Gill-like appendages on the facial cheeks
• Foreign fabric and armor worn by specimen
• The blood samples that were gathered were a red color and contained a black substance within it (refer to later)
Days began to turn into weeks as Urulozan waited for the creature to awaken. In fact, a total of two months had passed before the creature finally woke up. Urulozan recalls the creature as 'seemingly emotionless'. The creature struggled to sit up but Urulozan assisted the creature to do so. The creature sat looking at Urulozan for several minutes (he assumed it was studying him) and after a long silence the creature spoke in fluent Vortigese, startling and stunning Urulozan simultaneously. The creature apparently had said "Greetings". Urulozan replied "What are you?" The estranged creature proceeded to tell Urulozan that it and its people refer to themselves as The Malignai a sentient race on a planet far from Xen Space. The following months was a major research project for Urulozan, as he nurtured the creature while its wounds healed.
Urulozan was told many things about the creature and its people, he even learned that its name was Surectus Archer and that he was a mapmaker for his people. Surectus described how his craft crashed due to a malfunction, most of which Urulozan barely understood but neglected to say so, but sensed Surectus expected as much.
Things seemed to had taken a darker turn as Surectus remembered a device he was carrying on his ship. A small mechanical device that went missing some days prior to the crash. Surectus described it to be a weapon of some sort and if found it must be destroyed. Surectus never told Urulozan what the device actually did but emphasised the importance of its destruction. A few days later Surectus was completely healed. He said his farewells despite Urulozan begging him to stay to learn and reveal more. Urulozan's wishes were ignored seeing as Surectus wished to find a way home. About a year later, Urulozan revisited the site where Surectus' craft had crashed but was disappointed to see that most of it was stripped down and overgrown with foliage. Urulozan also revisited the cave he and Surectus had stayed in for so long, though by this time it too was derelict. Although, Urulozan discovered what he believes to be the journal of Surectus Archer. Unfortunately the symbols within it were unfamiliar to Urulozan as it was not any form of Vortigese or any other language throughout Xen. Urulozan published his notes and findings for the public to read claiming it to be and titled it as a 'Non-Fictitious Interview with a Malignant'. Skeptics claim that this was mainly an advertising gig to sell his story and claimed the "Malignai language" was nothing but "creative babbling", but still compliment him for his imaginative stories. Surectus was never seen by Urulozan or anyone else ever again, nor have any remains of a creature described in Urulozan's notes ever been recovered.
