The problem with that logic is that you assume ALL American troops join the armed forces and think "I"m gonna go kill me a family today!". That, my friend, is entirely false. While it is true that some American troops could stand to be shot, hanged, and set on fire because of the things they do, most of them are generally kind and caring towards the Iraqis and Afghans. Now, I'm sure you're gonna tell me about all the propaganda I've been eating up. As for the fuel part and having other interests in Iraq, France did not want to join the coalition against Iraq because of ITS investments there.
Also-little known fact-the French gave Saddam Hussein a nuclear reactor and scientists so he could use it. I'll provide the proof if you don't believe me.

France didn't surrender in Vietnam, they got their arse handed to them. Sorry, that's just a fact.
Also, to the "ironic" guy, I fail to see how falsely stating that United States troops are mass murderers is in any way ironic.
