Or atleast the start of it. A lot of chatter on twitter in the radtowns branch. Garry posted the following image...

I really hope they do come, however this picture looks a lot more like concept art than a screenshot. I also notice how there are comercial grade 2015 style telephone posts/lines in the background which doesnt seem to fit with either the future technology look OR the post apocalypse look.
I'm basically just saying I'm remaining skeptical to avoid disappointment.

Anyone else notice the guy holding the rock?
I'm going to have to disagree with you, Thor-axe. They fit a post apocalypse look perfectly for how those buildings look. For all we know Rust begins in 2015. It takes place way in the future, but everything should look like our era because nothing advanced after everything fell apart.
Well anyway they mentioned it in the last update to an extent. We in no way have a promise, but we know they're working on it. Personally I can't wait, this is what made Rust for me. Sprinting through rad town with your buddies before the radiation got you, shooting any mutant in sight, and grabbing every chest in a race against time. Then go raid with your new toys you found.

That is a screenshot.
Looking at the update twitters, this is gonna bring a lot of gameplay back to Rust, looks like we are going to get some new items to go with the looting system incorporated with the radtown development branch.
