Right now there are mainly three biomes, Ice biome up north, Grasslands/Forest in middle, and desert biome in the south. It would be cool if there were some biomes in between to help transition between the different biomes. Such as in between the desert and grasslands you could have a steppe. Up in the north you could have Sub arctic to Tundra to Ice Cap. And in the middle it would be cool to have different kinds of forests, like a coniferous, deciduous, mixed forest, or even a tropical rain-forest. It would also be awesome if their were animals native to a certain biome. Right now to find animals you kinda have to be in the grasslands/forest. The devs should add animals like Polar bears and Alaskan Huskies in the north and Jack Rabbits and Camels in the desert.
You guys can leave suggestions below of what biomes or animals you want to see.
Edited:
Aquatic animals would be awesome too.
Also there should be undifferentiated highlands (mountains) that are randomly spread around the map and are not restricted to any one biome.

They already plan to improve the environment (see Operation unsuck the Environment on trello)
.
Your ideas are great and I'm sure the studio has already thought of most of this, however since the game is still very early in development, these ideas will sit on the shelf for a while since there are other priorities. In the meantime, I can't wait to see desert animals because thats where I like making my home. Rattlesnakes, scorpions, whatever mammals live in deserts, etc. Or maybe future evolved animals that we dont see here in the year 2015.
