People talk about raiding as an easy task. Any time I try to destroy a wall the health just regenerates after I hit it. What is recommended when raiding?

It is highly recommended you do that which has more damage for what it has been to do.

Also, you should always be ready and able to do what happens when your able to have what it is you need.

    I hope this helps.

That doesn't really help. I've used a metal hatchet (on my own walls), but it didn't work.

It takes at least 2 people to get through a wood wall. Not sure about stone yet, but I would imagine at least 3 or 4.

False. It takes one person with one hatchet to take down a wooden wall, and one person for a stone wall. If the wall isn't going down in health, try a different one. Eventually you'll catch the health degradation and it will go down.

    Try not to spread misinformation.

Well didn't work for me, but I'll try again. If one person can get through that's lame. Should be harder.

Is Stability linked to the walls health? Per why some walls can be broken with one person as RelaxNerd mentions. If not they should.

nothing wrong with one person being able to get through, but it should take ages compared to 2-3 guys hitting the same wall with the same tools.

    *edit*

personally i would approach the whole stability thing a little differently.

stability would only apply to walls, windows, doorways, pillars and floor panels.

a panel needs 2 points of connection to stand, so walls need pillars and foundation, floors need walls or pillars. health = stability. if the panel is destroyed it breaks, dropping supported pieces (ie anything connected above it). naturally this can cascade in a tower.

this way not only do pillars get back their original purpose, but upgrading makes a house harder to pull down, and building gets restricted by what can be supported.

Seems like it is. I tried last night with a hatchet and noticed stable walls didn't lose any health, but unstable ones would. However, it was quite slow and would take forever to do solo.

I noticed yesterday that the first time I started hitting a wood wall, the wall regen would just be a notch slower than my damage, and given enough time I could knock a wall down. If I stopped hitting it for a couple seconds, and started hitting it again, the health regen would be faster, meaning I couldn't hit it fast enough to bring it down anymore. Odd.

when i have a hatchet, i can take down wood and stone walls. most walls require 2 people or more but some walls can be knocked down with 1 person.

Wood you can definitely solo, but you need a metal hatchet. I've had a team of 3 try to take down a wooden wall with stone hatches and we couldn't make a scratch. Also sometimes you might not notice it, but there are sometimes people on the other end of the wall smacking it with a hammer. I don't know if this is true or not, but I've noticed a couple times. Apparently you can buff walls for a short amount of time with your hammer. I had some guys raiding me for literally 10 hours today to the point I just gave up and logged off. I ended up banging on all my walls to keep them out. Then for a while they couldn't damage them at all for a couple mins. Eventually that wore off and it started taking damage again.
