Does anyone know the actual reason? I felt like it was decent before using a squad of people with guns, but now that any 2 idiots with hatchets can break into basically any house, I wonder what they're setting up for. I know they've got a plan for it but can't make out where its going right now

    any advice?

lol its not like legacy is any better. c4 is easy to get and make. and if you're not worried about c4, theres still tons of hackers. either way, im hoping they add metal walls and foundations soon to help counter how easy it is to get through wood.

C4 maybe easy to get but compared to a hatchet it is laborious, takes time and finite.

it really depends on personal opinion, but long story short, its being tweaked to balance it out, and has been for weeks now. just tipped toward "easy" again, that's all.

Yea, too easy now. Newmans with hammers can knock down walls again. I teamed up with a guy last night on Seattle for a few minutes. We shredded through 3 wood buildings with a hatchet and stone ax in a matter of minutes.

I did notice that on some walls we couldn't do it, but on others we could. Seemed as though it was a matter of timing? But once it was timed right it went quickly.

Yeah man, actually I love the direction they're going with animals. They will run like real animals, but if you persist and follow them, they'll eventually slow down and stop because they're "exhausted" so hunting is more immersive. They're actually much better now since before you sort of had to glitch them in the corner of rock to get them to actually stop, now they just stop on their own.

Hope that helps man, probably really annoying getting your furnace going when you didnt know that lol

There should be a brief changelog for rust the second you log in, with all the recent updates to the game mechanics for players who log in for the first time in x amount of time

By the looks of the updates on twitter animals are going to have homes. And they will try and travel back to sleep. Now that's cool we will be able to ambush them on their way home for a change.

I think they also sleep at night. There are times when the animals don't move at all and a double shot from the Bow can take them out with little effort. Typically one bow shot during the day causes them to bolt far far away. I have not had too much difficulty with animals, just takes time and skill. Once you get your gun then they are sitting ducks. Like it should be...
