    Another idea i had for some sort of pagan sculpture that players could build. Praying to it or feeding it heads/blood would give you building access.

    Now what if there were several aspects of these idols?

    These could be used to grant a focus in buffs to the residents of the area, only one per area permitted and not all of them grant special building permission, but they all prevent other idols from being built in their area. Some are focused around builders, others warmongers, and Blood Lust specifically around cannibalistic tribes, note that it has no building protection.

    The Idols:

    War = [Building Protection, Player Health++, Weapon Damage++, Siege Weapon Damage++]
    Castle = [Building Protection, Building Health++, Defensive Weapons++]
    Blood Lust = [Weapon Damage++, Health From Melee Combat, Frenzy(300% melee swing speed near players), De-buff Immunity, health++ from meat]
    Architect = [Building Protection, Building Speed++, Building Materials--, Recover All Materials From Building Demolition]
    Craftsmen = [Building Protection, Crafting Speed++, Research Speed++, Blueprint Discovery(Random while crafting), Forge/Fire Speed++]
    Hunter* = [Large Building Protection Area(Expensive), Animal Gather++, Trap Damage/Duration++]
    Farmer* = [Large Building Protection Area(Expensive), Materials Gather++, Crop Gather++]

    * - Limits Owner buildings to stone level max, will downgrade existing?

    Yes but no.

    It would be cool to build these as decoration. I'd make them more grusome too. I want to put the heads of all attempted raiders on stakes on my castle wall.

    None of these things should actually do anything, however. Don't agree with buffs or effects at all.

    if they used a human skull, and you had 20 of them? the moral of any player would likely drop and they would stay the f away. i don't think it needs artificial buffs, it speaks volumes for your survival chances.

    but this is supposedly for building rights? that means you need to hide it. i would just use this for decoration. besides, i thought the cupboard was potentially a stopgap. doesn't bode well for it's removal.

    I Agree that human skulls should be a trophy material, and place able much like the lantern. Mount it on the wall, at the front of your base or up on stakes, along your railings etc.. that way people know how many and who you have killed.

    Should also note who's skull it is as well, so if I killed mrknifey, if me or anyone at my base were to mouse over the skulls it would show:

    "mrknifeys Skull"

    There's your bounty hunter system pretty much done I reckon. Should be also able to mount those oil candles they are working on them like a gruesome sconce!

    As long as i can make them 20ft tall, climb inside them(or place prisoners inside) and possibly burn them, i'd like to then see them in game.
