    Hello everyone.

I had played rust quite a bit back when it first came out. I used to be pretty involved in checking up on the Rust development. Particularly, in the face punch forum suggestion thread. I would offer my own ideas and even submit models I built using my skills in blender. You can see some of the models I made in the link below. It also includes models submitted by other players. It was a great to critique each others work and pass ideas around.

I was hoping to get back into it and noticed that ALOT has changed. I have read a few of the articles, but not all them. Anyway, I am not sure I will have the time, but I would like to help out again if I can (I just got a new job).

Where would be the best place to submit suggestions?

What if I want to submit some concepts or model ideas?

I went back to the facepunch suggestion thread and noticed that it is pretty dead (http://facepunch.com/forumdisplay.php?f=420 ). Has the suggestions been moved to some place else?

    Thanks!

kind of between the bug/suggestion board and here now. they cleaned up a number of subforums, which still exist but are no longer hotlinked, so they are dead quiet these days.

read through the devblogs. there's a shit load of them, but it will get you up to date. the trello is constantly edited and archived, so it's no good for getting a historical view, but great for current stuff they are working on.

Oh that is too bad. I really enjoyed showing models and ideas to other modelers. I will see if anyone would be interested in getting back on board.

Thanks for the links. Much appreciated!

I'd be more than happy to talk to you about them, i am getting a new PC in April, a much better one than i have now obviously but i am also getting a Wacom tablet for use during my Digital Tutors online courses i will be doing soon(i was doing them recently but i had to temporarily cancel), the courses were/are 3DS Max, Maya, Blender, Photoshop, Zbrush(my fav) and Unity as well as others.

I also plan on doing some 3D modelling, and show case my stuff eventually though if i were to do that i would upload them to my imgr account like i do with all my builds. I would suggest doing the same. I have a lot of ideas i want to make which are for the cosmetic stuff for Rust(custom armor etc)

Also you could check out Rustafied. com and their forum which is in the process of being set up. Aaron runs the rustafied website, he also talks to some FP devs about the game. Maybe suggestions on his forum might help(when its running).

Otherwise i'd be happy to chat and exchange ideas.

Hmm...I will check it out thanks. Could you provide me the link to the forum? You can PM me if you like.

That is the thread where many of the 3D modelers would hang out. It was fun throwing ideas around. We REALLY got into it. It is weird seeing some of my old posts XD

The forums not up yet, it was just for a couple of days while we tested it, but was taken down while Aaron got the funds to run it. But i'll pm you later when it is up or make a FP post.

Alright thanks. Honestly, I am not sure when I will be able to get on. I am going to start a new job soon. However, I see this as a way to continue to develop my computer graphic skills and have fun at the same time
