Here's our pitch that will hopefully entice you to join our new community:

The Isle is a new upstart, but we're experienced Rust admin. For legacy we ran a 100+ member server (Rust Triads) and we now think it's time to get an experimental server off the ground. The improvements in experimental are very exciting, but they come with a learning curve and occasional downtime. Admin and Google can help you with the learning curve. The downtime should be minimal, but we ask that members be patient as we do our best to keep the server up to date.

Wide open server, ready for all player types

The #1 priority for the Isle of Fogg server is for people to have fun playing the game. All types (PVP, PVE, builders, merchants, solo, groups, creepies, etc.) are welcome! A diverse mix of players makes for an exciting and dangerous world. Our one request is to keep kill on sight (KOS) to a minimum. This is not a discouragement of PVP, but rather an encouragement of player interaction. Make yourself and your greetings/demands known before whacking another player.

We're running Oxide, but carefully selecting which plugins to implement

Experimental has a some funky bugs and missing features that we're compensating for by using Oxide 2. Core mechanics such as gathering, drops, crafting, etc. are all vanilla. We'll continue to update and modify our plugins to keep the game balanced and functional. Raiding damage is currently fixed by adjusting the damage rate to walls and doors. Air drops are also fixed. Inquire with admin for more details

Raiding is supported and promoted

If you're willing to hack away at walls for hours, you should be able to knock them down. Raiding and secure base construction are a core feature of Rust. If you want to be safe from raids, hide your base or build a castle. Sounds fun right?

Upstart = Need players to build the foundation of this server

If you're looking for a 30+ server pop, that's not us right now. Please come back in a month. Right now we're looking for players that want to get in on the ground floor and help shape the identity of this server. Please come and stay for a while... meet the admin, the regulars, the vigilantes/villains, and be a part of the community. Quit the server hopping for a week and see what happens!

This server is not setup by stagnant admin. As we grow we aim to continue providing the best gaming experience possible. A website, custom plugins, weekly awards and regular community videos are all things we hope to bring to the community as we grow. Suggestions on all facets of the server and community are welcome.
