Is it possible to delete or destroy a latern?

Can confirm I have tried about 2000 rounds of a Thompson, hammers and other shit, the only way I have found to get rid of them is demolish whatever they are sitting on, lantern disappears, then you just rebuild what was demo'd.

Not really an on-topic reply for this but i've seen some weird sh*t going on lately lol.. And i recently started playing, yet know enough about the game to wonder the following:

If a there is a 2-5 floor house (which i saw), i go gather & come back in like 5 minutes. All the sudden the house i saw in the distance has completely vanished?! What does it take to make this happen? For all i know, it was a wooden house (each component). Build on rocks and the door was only accessible by building towards it. How does 1 or more players break into this? Or simply destroy this house?

The only "realistic" explenation i've heard so far is by breaking down the foundations. As in the foundation is gone & by gravity law --> everything collapses.

Does anyone have any given information about this. Either experienced or done it theirselves or links towards websites??

There's a current bug/glitch within the game that causes things to disappear. Try to disconnect and reconnect to the server, this sometimes helps. I've had someone on my server swear up and down they lost their house and knew they were in the right area, someone killed them and they spawned back in their house in their sleeping bag. This also leads to my next point, some folks can't see everything you can and vice versa.. and if its not there then you can walk through it giving others the impression that you're a hacker of some sort.
