You have to aim with your cursor at the top of an item to drag the full amount, and you must be ridiculous precise or you'll miss an small amount, this can be very frustrating.

How about the devs use an system which others are currently using? By select an item with left mouse click and hold it, now a circle will appear inside the item and you'll be able to drag to fill the inside of the circle (it doesn't mather in which angle you drag it from, what matters is if the circle will be filled or not). As you already understand is the amount will be decided in how much the circle is filled. So when draging the cursor outside of the circle then the circle will be filled, which means full amount of the current selected item.

Use this system devs, to ease the pain of frustration, or do you guys in the forum have an better idea?

Legacy system was 10 times better. Sometimes simplest things are the best.

I just wish they had a Take All option.

I don't know how many times I got killed by a bear trying to run in and grab my shit off my carcass only to have it despawn.

I wish they'd give me octopus arms so I could grab like 8 items at once.

There actually was a Take All option at one point. It was removed to add challenge, tension and "realism" to item looting.

if we could move stacks as a whole by default, it would fix a lot of problems. click, drag to your inventory instead of try and click at the very top without missing the item, then drag over, go back for the pieces you left behind from the stack, repeat for anything else you dropped.

i suppose the other option would be a loot all button that forced you into a "looting" animation that runs for x seconds based on how much you are grabbing ;)

I'm sure this will be made easier in the future. Right now, I tend to drop stuff then pick it up instead of clicking and dragging from wherever to inventory.

I have gotten used to it, its not that bad when your safe in your house make a few stacks of 61 wood while you are waiting to cook. It is also designed to make you stand over your vic while looting a bit longer to simulate searching a hody for goodies, i like this as theres a bit of danger involved. And BTW demands like "fix this now" are not helpful.

I stopped playing the new Rust when that "mechanic" was introduced. It completely turns me off from the game and makes me rage quit.

Less is more some times. Keep it simple, FP. I would like to check out your progress at some point but not with that irritating shit in place.

I don't just want a TAKE ALL option i'd rather a CHECK BOX option where it takes all items i tick in the CHECK BOX next to the item. This way it takes all the items i ticked and leaves behind items i dont need

Anything's better than what they have right now.

If they want there to be danger, just add a timer/animation (like 7 Days to Die has a percentage indicator when searching that changes based on what you're searching).
