Post #1Just logged onto London Branch and every single house has their door wide open and the contents taken. Literally the doors are still marked as red for locked but all are open.
If someone can hack your door open whats the point ?

If the doors are open but still showing locked red it's most likely to do with the updates, if servers are not wiped and the save deleted the door locks don't work, It's not a hack just the server need a complete restart without the save.
Edit: (was on my phone re-read the post and it was vague)
So a day or so ago there was an update that broke all the locks on all servers, this bug made doors look locked but were open to anyone, the solution was to wipe or remove the save file, after this was done newly placed locks worked,
so if the server you are on has not done a clean server start it's still got that bug and need to be wiped.

the bug remains a problem for servers that have not removed/wiped the save file. all it takes is someone to realize that they can open doors and run around taking stuff at will, what they don't realize is that the doors they build will be open even if they place a code lock.

We did not have to wipe the server. All that was required was to remove the offending door/chest and put up a new one with a new lock. Tested with multiple people and those without the code could not open the door or chest with the new lock.

We tried that when the bug first appeared did not work (maybe a subsequent Update fixed New locks) but to tell everyone on the server's that the locks were broke would have been a pain in the arse, Easier to just wipe, Saves all the complaints from the players. :)
