Hi guys please help if you can, I have been running a rust server for a while however had an update on 19/12/14 for the server app, however i cannot seem to set a port for Rcon.password i have tried -rcon.port 28003 yet it defaults to 28001, however this is the port used for the query port and so my server is not showing in the server list.........Any help would be appreciated. If anyone has a text of the .cfg they use that would be great...

.cfg file doesn't work yet as far as I know. You have specified "-rcon.port 28003", Change it to "+rcon.port 28003"

Alternatively if you have set yourself up as owner in game F1 console do it from there - it will just be "rcon.port 28003" - no plus or minus. You should see a notification in the console that it has been set to the right port.
