Why is the official server offline for 2 days now? ( Facepunch Amsterdam )

It's not 2 days. It's offline since 11 hours or something. Atleast i was online on Amsterdam 11 hours ago .. i just started enjoying the new stuff and went to bed with huge plans for today :D just to find out that the server is dead in the morning :D They all seem dead tough and that is not the biggest problem actually. I readed about Facepunch going into Holidays for XMas :D it would be really really really bad if there will be noone to put the things back online :)

There's currently a server bug which closes the server / stops it responding. This only affects servers which have the very latest updates. I know that we've taken our servers offline, as have/did Rustatied, until this is fixed. It's probably happening on the official servers also.
