    10 months ago I came up with a few ideas on parts, here are the pictures of them.
    (All these creations are 10 months old so please no hate, rather comment critically on it.
    If you have questions than ask. ;)
    And sorry if some pictures are small or big.)

    ### "Make area bigger without buildings"
    Right now we have tool cupboards for this, but the idea that you can extent your range for not being able to build with weaker signs placed on the ground(only) and placed (only)outside of your (or any) tool cupboard range. These can only be placed if your tool cupboard is near, they cannot be placed inside a building, a building cannot be placed on top of it and if a person places a tool cupboard that will make these signs within range than the signs will dissapear and you have to place them again just outside of your cupboard range. Signs cannot be placed to close to each other, so that you can't place 100 signs next to each other to make a wall from it XD)

    ### " "Area Enter" "
    Again, right now we have tool cupboards for this, but the idea is that whenever you come within the range of a base (so now that would be a tool cupboard) then you would see the name of the place. The idea is that you basically name your environment. If a base is on a mountain, you can call it mountain base. If a friendly guy lives on mountain, you can name it friendly mountain. Anything.
    + As an extend to this idea, it would be nice if you have a notebook (made from 50 paper). Everytime you want to name something, you click on your notebook (in you quickbar) point it towards something and than set range (50 - 200m) and then name that environment.


    ### "Caves canyon"
    This idea is a suggestion for an environment.
    A canyon that would carve through the environment with here and there waterfalls.
    When boats will be implemented then add riviers with current which will go towards a waterfall.
    If you do not get out of the current fast than you will fall of the waterfall and land in the river below.
    Also, the canyon pieks that are within the canyon are nice to build on. It would be nice if we could make bridges somehow so that you can make a path over this, without having to make a path down. The nice thing is it adds a layer of choice. You either chose to go left, go right, jump in the water from height and hope it is deep enough to and / or you have enough medic kits or you chose to build a bridge over it.
    -> If you look at the bottom right of the drawing you see caves. I think adding bigger caves with underground lakes would be intresting. Caves would be cold and need special warm clothing. Caves are difficult to get out of, but easy to enter.
    + An extend to this idea is that the cave is as low as the canyon is.


    ### "Map editor for admins"
    This idea was that the devs would create a simple to use tools for admins to change their maps.
    In the picture I show some ideas for sliders to be used, ofcourse these will have to be based on whatever model or way of working the devs are using now in unity. Sliders I think that could be added based on the new update is: - Amounth of radiation chance - Fog overal - Amounth of animals that spawn in - Resources amounth - Resources respawn time - Amount of trees (normal to almost nothing) - Biome styles Desert (yes/no) (etc for snow and forrest).

    ### "Heavy door that is difficult to open and close, but strong as defense"
    The idea is that a base with more players can have special kind of doors, a door than can only be opened and closed from the inside. You need to use voice or local chat to contact your other player (inside the base) to open the gate.


    ### "Communication by notes - works like email"
    The idea is to place notes on doors (or other places) - just leave a note somewhere - and that note can be read by players. The note can be: a message, a wanted player note, a help note, a quest note or something else.


    ### "Ziplines"
    Besides that ziplines could be a lot of fun, it would anoter intresting layer to taking over a base. You can imagine what players would do to make intresting difficult ways to enter a base.

    ### "Communication with other bases / Alarm"
    The idea that you can make an alarm in a more primite way. The large bell is one way of doing it, but the bell will have to be selfmade ofcourse. You could alarm your friends on the server that somebody is raiding or you could use it just to get players to your base and fake that you are in trouble. You could also use smoke. Whatever use it may servere you.


    + Extend of idea: You could even have a whole link of players, one player to another, to sign somebody far away.


    ### "(Weak) hanging bridges"
    The idea is that you can build hanging bridges. Intresting for base building, intresting for going over an area that is hard to build in.

    ### "Lader placement and rope-ladders"
    The idea is that you can place ladders and be able to climb up something. Right now in the current version we only have halfsized stairs and it takes a long time to walk up, ladders are the opposite. The only negative side is that you cannot shoot your weapon when climbing.

    Some ideas I do not like that much anymore,
    but you can talk about if you want to, and if you do tell me why:


    -> Dragging / Pushing something in front of door
    -> If a player tries to get in, he needs to break the door and than kick(animation) that object away.
    -> Spikes prevent players from getting to wall, but they can destroy spikes with few hits

    -> Building stairs on rocks (## Building on rocks can already be done now)
    -> Bars (like an old western prison)

    -> A different apprach to searching for servers (## There are so many different kind of servers, it does not make sense anymore I think)

    I really like the note idea, the ziplines, the bridge, the heavy door, "alarm" systems, and the ladders. The other ones aren't bad, just not as good. And the map editor I don't care about since I'm not an admin.

    But all that other stuff seems to be fun and makes sense.

    No problem. Most ideas get lost within the many other ideas. Same thing will probably happen to these ones. :p

    Some good ideas here.

    I've been working on Rope Bridge concept for travel between tree houses.

    The idea was that it would be a 4 Pillar Square arrangement that can fit on a Square Foundation or floor. This way you're not placing a Foundation or Floor but just the Rope and Pillar arrangement.

    The Rope Bridge would be capable of diagonal placement(Rope Bridge not Pillars) but only to a limited angle, too far would make it impossible to access.
