I get a flashing bear screen that says Game File Mismatch Verify Game Installation. Then the came closes out. Would like to start playing the game I just spent $20 on so could anyone give me some help?

Make sure you're running Steam as administrator.

Also, go into Rust's properties, click the Betas tab, and select "development - the latest updates blabla" (not development-debug) and click ok. Steam will download an update for Rust, and this will put you at the latest development build, rather than the most recent semi-stable build (the default). See if EAC complains then.
