[Xynocide]

Hello there. This is my first post in this forum, i wanted to tell my opinions about the game and i think this is kinda "official" place to do it :)

Anyways, i think the game will be pretty good, its very fun to play even atm (except the wipe things due to server performance goes shit) and i can see the potential of what can be actually implemented to the game and that makes me very excited.

But...

I just saw the roadmap thingy and i think, there shouldn't be so much "technology" in game. I really want to see travel options but i dont think i'd like to see a car moving around while some speared cro-magnons running naked. There should be horses for example, but not cars. There should be bows-arrows- throwable spears even siege weapons and such but not an M4A1 with a laser sight. i think its kinda ok with the current rifle in game because its challenging to use it but im not ok with the thompson for example. Because its pretty exciting to see how people get in the game, start gathering resources, try to survive, build a shelter, craft new things. But -when the stability issue has fixed- it will be like, spray'n pray thompsons everywhere after 4-5 days. People will die, go back to home, bring another thompson and tatatatatatata! When i imagine this, i don't think it will be that exciting when it comes to the late game.

cut to the short, i think a little medievalish and a tiny bit of scrap technology of a post-apocalyptic world will be the better and interesting instead of firing your M4's from your Hum-Vee's window.

I disagree with you about it being fun right now. It gets boring in an extremely short amount of time. Once they start adding content, that'll change. I do like higher tier, more modern weapons like an m4 & laser sight....but would prefer these relegated to loot crates rather than craftable. Cars. I haven't made up my mind yet. I'm a bit indifferent. I loved the rush of running back to base after a raid knowing I'm vulnerable to other players. A car would kind of negate that feeling to some extent. I love the concepts on Trello and hope they start implementing them soon.

The only time i'd agree about cars or vehicles in Rust is if they were built exactly the way they are constructed in the game Homebrew-Vehicle Sandbox, but with the usual Rust Signature style.

id agree with no modern weapons... spears hammers slingshots and some rusty weapons are fine and cool.. modern weapons are just meh
